I know I don’t have to rehash this for you, the Johnny Depp week. And how they’ve turned that around in just 5 days. From “missing” and a “mess” to, oh, he might win an Oscar. Do women ever get the same courtesy? Fine. I won’t turn this isn’t a feminist crusade. Full Story

I don’t know how to fill in the rest of that title. Because I don’t want to be yelled at. At the same time, I feel like you’re probably not going to be able to avoid it today so if you’re yelling at me, you’re probably yelling at everyone. About the spoiler… Is it really a spoiler? Is it still a spoiler? Grey’s Anatomy. Full Story
Before I shut down last night I watched the RDJ interview that everyone’s been talking about. He was in London the other day to promote Avengers: Age Of Ultron. The outlet was Channel 4 with journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy. It’s making headlines because the video is a major cringe. Guru-Murthy starts with a series of standard, innocuous movie questions and then attempts to get personal. Full Story
Did not or could not? Russell Crowe is currently promoting his directorial debut The Water Diviner. He’s been extra generous with gossip during this press tour. I’m obsessed with the one about Michael Jackson prank calling him. You heard about this? Michael would just ring up Russell’s hotel room and start asking to speak to Mr Wall. Full Story

Yesterday, the Cannes Film Festival announced its full jury for this year. And many are calling it the most physically attractive jury ever which I’m sure will go over well with the jury members. Still, it’s not like you can’t see it, right?
Jury co-presidents Ethan and Joel Cohen will be joined by 7 others including Sophie Marceau, Rokia Traore, Guillermo del Toro, and Canada’s cinematic wonderboy Xavier Dolan because – can you believe it? – at just 26 years old, he’s had four films in the festival and doesn’t have one ready yet for this season so he has time to judge. Lazy, right? And very pretty.
Then there’s Rossy de Palma, one of the most interesting faces of our time, who has also been named to the jury. You remember her from Almodovar’s Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown?

Ben Affleck was featured in Finding Your Roots last year on PBS. During the research process, it was discovered that he had ancestors who were slave owners. He asked Henry Louis Gates Jr (Skip) to not include that part in the episode. Click here for a refresher if you missed that article from Monday. Full Story

Sienna Miller’s name was on the list of 2015 jury members at the Cannes Film Festival released yesterday, one of the reasons why people were calling it the prettiest jury ever. Sienna is, obviously, very pretty. But inviting her to be part of the judging panel was not just motivated by her looks, especially not when you consider the year she’s just had, appearing in both Foxcatcher and American Sniper and following that up with a run on Broadway in Cabaret. Stories about Johnny Depp haven’t been so positive lately. His last few films have been sh-t. He hurt his hand while in Australia shooting Pirates 5, but not actually when he was shooting Pirates 5. And there are a lot of rumours about how it actually happened, where it happened, his state of mind when it went down. Full Story

Armie Hammer and his wife Elizabeth Chambers stepped out this weekend for the LACMA 50th anniversary gala. My first thought when I saw these pictures: “Oh yeah, Armie Hammer.” He was supposed to be a thing, wasn’t he? He was supposed to be on the verge of a big career. Full Story
