The trailer is here, at long last! Everything you’ve heard or thought about Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (they dropped the “The” somewhere along the way, and I’m still inclined to put it in every time) can now be confirmed or at least guesstimated. Watch: There’s no debate about the premise, obviously. Full Story

Coming off Amy Poehler’s last year as co-host of the Golden Globes, I keep reminding myself that Parks And Recreation is in its final run, and I need to set my PVR. I have watched the show since the first season, when Leslie Knope was just a female Michael Scott and the entire storyline revolved around the creation of one park. Full Story

Did you watch the first two episodes of Schitt’s Creek last night on CBC? If you missed it, they’re online here. For those of you who were able to see it… How spectacular is Catherine O’Hara as Moira Rose? O’Hara has always been underrated. Full Story

Dear Gossips,

Please don’t make me care about the People’s Choice Awards. We’ll post some pictures, sure. We’ll look at some dresses, maybe three or four, fine. But, I say it every year, it’s not like they matter. And, well, if you look at that red carpet and who was on it, that should tell you everything.

So let’s talk about Tina Fey. Busy Tina Fey. After seeing the newest Golden Globe promo the other day (I’ve attached it below), Duana texted me and remarked on how tired Tina seemed. No doubt, she and her team have been working with Amy Poehler on the jokes. And it’s also the winter TCAs so, yesterday, she was promoting her new show, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, starring Ellie Kemper and airing, in bulk, as usual, on Netflix beginning March 6th. It’s about a woman who spent 15 years in a doomsday bunker with the rest of her cult and then decides to Katie Holmes herself to New York and begin a new life.  Read Full Intro

Tone is everything. So maybe I’m not reading this right. Maybe the tone I’m getting out of Jon Hamm in this new interview with Radio Times is all wrong. Maybe you can help me hear it differently. Because I’m hearing it like he’s all kinds of a crabby. And I don’t know if I like my Jon Hamm crabby. Full Story

The alarm went off this morning. I dropped my eyes. I picked up my phone. There was a text from Duana: “Can we just have a weekly column called f-ck off Aaron Sorkin?!?” Then I opened my browser. And there it was. Aaron Sorkin’s latest f-ck off moment, this time comparing male and female award-winning roles and declaring that it’s a higher “degree of difficulty” for the men. Full Story

Great week for Jake Gyllenhaal. As already mentioned, lots, he was nominated for a SAG award and for a Golden Globe for his performance in Nightcrawler. His sister, Maggie, was also nominated for both (Best Actress Miniseries, The Honourable Woman). And Ruth Wilson, his Broadway co-star in Constellations, was nominated for The Affair. Full Story

Marco…Polo

I had high hopes for Netflix’s new period drama Marco Polo. With a $90 million dollar budget—making it the second-most expensive show on TV behind only Game of Thrones—and being co-produced by The Weinstein Company, the table was set for something interesting, maybe even special. Full Story

The last time I posted about Kirsten Dunst it was in September – click here for a refresher. She was featured in The Edit. It was a great interview. And in particular the comment that stood out was when she talked about her acting plans and how she’s ready to not just focus on film. Full Story

We’ve been speculating for weeks about that fifth Best Actor spot, assuming that Michael Keaton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, and Steve Carell would be in for four. And we’ve seen Jake Gyllenhaal surging. Well, he’s almost there. The Screen Actors have sent him an invitation. Full Story

Peter Pan, starring Captain Hook

I feel like there should be a rating system on Twitter for how long you stayed with Peter Pan last night. I had on-the-laptop errands to do so I thought I’d be in for the long haul, but I definitely found myself blinking awake during one of the various pirate dances post-child-kidnapping. Okay, so…?  Well, it’s no Sound Of Music. Full Story

It was announced last week that production is underway for True Detective Season 2…with a not very diverse cast. Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell are the two leads. Vince is a crime boss and Colin plays a shady-ish cop. Here he is with longer hair in LA yesterday leaving a doctor’s office with medicine. Full Story
