I’m sorry about yesterday. As Jacek mentioned in Smutty Tingles, I was disorganised. This happens from time to time whenever I try to maximise schedule efficiency. On Wednesday night I was out at two events until late. I slept 3 hours, woke up to blog the next morning, rushed to pack and then left for work at 7:30am to blog some more before preparing for The Social, which airs live at 1pm, and then it was off to the airport at 2:15pm for my flight to New York. I forgot my glasses. AND my passport.
You know who else forgets her passport?
Jennifer Lawrence.
She talked about it yesterday on Live with Kelly & Michael only in her case, she was flying private. Still, even though she’s the Girl On Fire, they made her go back and get it and switch flights. Are passports the great equaliser between celebrity and civilian? Sure, they don’t have to wait in line at the airport and they always fly first class, but they can’t get into another country without documentation, ever. If Jennifer Lawrence forgets her passport, nobody’s waiving the standard policy and letting her across the border.
She’s just… way cuter about it. Probably because she had 8 assistants running around finding her passport and bringing it to her instead of having to fret about it herself. How often does this happen to her? I’ve forgotten my passport 3 times in the last 18 months. And my wallet once. A wallet wouldn’t matter to Jennifer Lawrence though. What would she need money for? On a press tour, the studio pays for everything.
OK never mind. Not equalising at all.
But still, she is just so f-cking cute, right?
