Tina Fey Uses Her Powers For Good
Cindy Ord/Getty
The one thing that kind of bugged me about Tina Fey’s Bossypants was that she used the word “grim” a lot. Situations were grim. Lighting was grim. People were grim. She loves the word. But maybe she finds that “g-r” construction evocative, because in this clip from last night’s Inaugural Gala for the Center for Reproductive Rights in New York, she makes the best use of “grey-faced” I’ve ever heard. Age Ain’t Nothing But a Privilege

It was one of those random links you click even though you should be doing something else. I wound up on this interview with Susan Sarandon with Katie Couric (on her show, which I had never seen before and which barely permeated my consciousness) and a few things struck me about the clips Full Story
WOAH Winona!
I prefer my Winona Ryder with very short hair...but WOAH. She looks pretty hot with those extensions in. And of course, forever, it’s that face. That face is 40 now. But to me, she’ll always be 23. Here she is on the set of Homefront in New Orleans. Homefront was written by Sylvester Stallone (?!?) starring Jason Statham and James Franco. Full Story
Winona at the gala

Two Winona Ryder posts in one day! This makes me so happy. Here she is at the gala premiere of The Iceman tonight in Venice wearing Dolce & Gabbana. In black of course, always. And so beautiful, of course. And so... delicate and vulnerable, again, of course. I am addicted to her face. Have been forever. Full Story
Mila Kunis disappoints
Roshan Perera/Splash
I LOVE Mila Kunis a lot. I will watch her in almost anything. Even Friends With Benefits. Which is why I’m so gutted that this is happening. That whatever it is with Ashton Kutcher is more than just shamef-cking. Unless shamef-cking now includes getting dressed up for a romantic Italian dinner. Full Story
Marion’s first Cannes
Marion Cotillard has been to Cannes, obviously. But she’s never been to Cannes with a film in competition. Marcel was born last year during Cannes when Midnight In Paris was presented. She’s here now for Jacques Audiard’s De Rouille et d’os (Rust & Bone). The screening was this morning at 8:30am and I suck because I could not get my ass out of bed for it. Full Story
Did you watch Scandal?
Shonda Rimes created Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, and wrote Britney Spears’s Crossroads (!). Her new show, Scandal, premiered on ABC last Thursday. Did you watch? I saw the pilot episode at the TCAs in January and enjoyed it. But the version I saw was before it was given the network treatment. What happened on Thursday was. Full Story

Cate’s family holiday in Paris
Fame/Flynet
Cate Blanchett and husband Andrew Upton were spotted today on holiday in Paris with their sons Dashiell, Roman, and Ignatius. They hit up the Louvre, walked around the Tuileries, and I really love that even Cate Blanchett makes her boys pose for photos when they don’t want to because, at this age, they don’t give a sh-t. Diane Keaton wants Ryan Gosling
Diane Keaton was in Toronto yesterday and appeared on The Marilyn Denis Show. I can’t find any pap photos of her. And there are several pap agencies represented in Toronto. For some reason, I guess Diane Keaton wasn’t a draw...?Who doesn’t love Diane Keaton? As my friend Michelle noted yesterday, Diane Keaton is universally adored. Full Story
Susan Sarandon had lipo
There’s a feature on Susan Sarandon in the new issue of PEOPLE. She talks about aging in Hollywood. You can read most of it here. I like the part where she talks about how there are a lot of guys out there who are attracted to interesting women. Because their mothers raised them to be. Full Story

Best Starmaking Moment - with a side of Deja Vu: Emma Stone
Stephen Shugerman/Frazer Harrison/Jason Merritt/Kevin Winter/ROBYN BECK/Getty
There are stars, and then there are stars, you know? Even though Emma Stone's had a good few years and a REALLY good 2011, she hasn't had that defining role... yet. The one everyone remembers as equal parts incredible acting and indelibly her. I'm sure she's getting scripts, but she's usually a variation on a Sassy Quirky Truth Teller. Full Story

It was at the Brit Awards last year that Adele delivered such an exquisite performance, bringing all of us to tears, of Someone Like You that started it all. So now it’s complete. Adele was the big winner at the BRIT Awards last night. And it doesn’t look like she actually changed her dress from the Grammy Awards. Full Story
