Bradley Cooper’s bob didn’t want to win an Oscar
Bradley Cooper took his new bike out this weekend. And showed us what his hair looks like when it’s not gelled back:
He has a bob!
Like Keanu Reeves’s Ted Logan, only with some natural curl.
Apparently it’s for a movie. Well, I hope so.
In other Coop news, now that it’s a week after Oscar, it turns out he never wanted to win one in the first place. Coop told British GQ that since his father died, he hasn’t had the same approach:
“I watched him dying and I was there by his bed watching him, breathing with him, and then I saw his last breath and he was gone. I experienced the whole thing. And that was a watershed moment that I was privileged to experience. And it changed everything. Nothing has ever been the same since. The beauty is that I just don’t sweat sh-t anymore. I don’t want to win an Oscar. It would change nothing. Nothing. The things in my life that aren’t fulfilled would not be fulfilled. Career-wise, right now, it’s better that I don’t win one. I don’t want to win. I don’t." (Source)
You buy it?
I buy it that he’s tried to convince himself of it, sure. I buy it that it may have been a defence mechanism to protect himself from disappointment because the truth is, he had no chance of winning. But the not caring part of it, I buy that more from Joaquin Phoenix. And I’d buy it more from Bradley Cooper if he wasn’t Harvey Weinstein’s son of the 2012/13 award season.
