Madonna gossip, latest news, photos, and video.
Madonna will be performing at the BRIT Awards tonight. She also covers the new issue of Rolling Stone which leaked online yesterday. That’s a great red lip. And a really great red nail with gold accent. And the eyeliner is perfect. So are the eyebrows.
Anyway, as you know, M is pressing hard right now for her new album Rebel Heart. A world tour announcement is expected imminently. “I have a plan” is what she told Rolling Stone. Great. I look forward to whatever she has planned. But she needs a hit. Like a big hit. A high rotation play hit. The kind of hit that you can’t get out of your head. I don’t think Living For Love is that song. I mean it’s fine, but it’s not …inescapable, you know? What’s the next inescapable, you will know the lyrics forever, Madonna track? I really want there to be one. Read Full Intro

To me, Madonna looked stiff last night at the Grammys. There was no fluidity in her movements. My friend Iain, the most ardent Madonna fan I know, even he called her performance “cautious”, wishing she would just let go. That’s about as critical as it gets from Iain on Madonna. So if even he’s calling it “cautious”, it was cautious. Full Story
Wednesday was the Start of Spring on the Chinese calendar meaning it’s now officially the Year of the Goat/Sheep (even though Chinese New Year is on February 19th). That day I posted a Squawking Chicken (my ma) advisory for those born in the Year of the Ox. The Goat/Sheep is the opposing sign of the Ox…which means that the Ox (and that includes me) is in for some sh-t. Click here for a refresher.
I’ve had several follow-up Ox emails since that post. Most commonly, you’re asking about being a pregnant Ox in the Year of the Goat/Sheep and giving birth to a Goat/Sheep. The Squawking Chicken’s recommendation: Godparents. But make sure your child’s godparents are NOT born Ox. Read Full Intro
This was released on SnapChat today so I don’t know how long it’ll be before this video gets taken down. I suggest you watch it right away… It’s new Madonna. The song is Living For Love. Not the worst recent song we’ve heard from her. But you know Madonna. And if it’s one thing Madonna knows, it’s a music video. Full Story

Madonna fronts the new Versace Spring/Summer 2015 campaign. She’s had a good relationship with the brand for a while now. Looks good, right? I mean I don’t know how “realistic” it is but since when did we expect realism from fashion ads anyway? Of the collaboration, Madonna said: "It's always exciting to be dressed head to toe in Versace and experience first-hand Donatella's vivid imagination and passion that she has created for this collection. Madonna’s birthday was on Saturday. From the looks of it on Instagram her party was flapper themed. I love the headpiece she’s wearing in this shot: The photo ended up getting taken down because Instagram hates nipples. Full Story
Madonna is on holiday in the south of France with her kids and some friends and maybe even her boyfriend, dancer Timor Steffan. It was first reported in June that the two are dating after being seen leaving a play in New York. The photo agency is saying that he’s there with her, suggesting that he’s the guy in the open shirt beside her walking to the yacht. Full Story

It was Madonna who attracted many of the major players to her party on Sunday night after the Oscars. Why? No photographers is probably the best explanation. And no journalists. Vanity Fair invites a handful of reporters to their event. That’s how they can get it out there that their party is the best…after Madonna. Full Story

Madonna’s annual Oscar party on Sunday night – the big news coming out of it was that Charlize Theron and Sean Penn were all over each other (and that might explain why she wore that sh-tty dress – click here for a refresher). You know what got buried under that though? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were there too. Full Story

Not going to lie. I just wanted to say Pussy Riot. It’s 45 minutes before The Social and I have to watch my language for an hour on television – because I’ve already said “sh-t” once on the air – so what I do is try to get it out of my system over and over in the hopes that I’ll be spent from swearing before we go live. There are certain words we are not allowed to say on daytime television. But what if one of those words is part of a proper name? We can say pussy willow if we’re actually referring to pussy willows. I’m not sure if we’d be allowed to say Pussy Riot when referring to the band. Anyway, Pussy Riot was part of the Amnesty International benefit concert last night in Brooklyn. Full Story
