He arrived at 5am yesterday on the red-eye from LA. It was supposed to be a full day of press followed by his carpet at Ryerson. He came to our etalk Lounge at the Intercontinental. The girls could barely hold their quiver together. Laura won’t admit it but she was ready to give up Robert Pattinson. Full Story

Rabbit Hole screened here at TIFF on Monday to largely positive reviews, many saying it’s Nicole Kidman’s best film in a few years. Well that’s encouraging. Because as I’ve always said, despite my disdain for the marbleisation of her face, I do enjoy Gran’s acting. I do think she is very, very talented. Full Story

Today is Blue Valentine Day at TIFF. He’ll be on junket, the screening is tonight, and he arrived just in time this morning at 5am, suit in hand, hair combed, shades on, and white socks. Some of you will be bitching about the white socks. Um, look at him. All of him. Do we really need to be talking about white socks? Really??? As for Blue Valentine – I’m not sure if they’ve tweaked it since Cannes but the version I saw in Cannes I loved. Full Story
