Robert Pattinson Gossip
Robert Pattinson gossip, latest news, photos, and video.
One year ago today...
It was the second Thursday of Cannes. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were at a party. The paps shot them from across the street -- rare photos of the two of them kissing and loving. With video! It was very romance, per Borat Sagdiyev. Three weeks ago, when I was planning our Cannes coverage, I had this day marked as an anniversary celebration for Twi-Hards. Full Story

Hey Lainey, please tell us what's going on with Rob and Kristen. Nothing makes sense for us. We have that theory that they're both moving back to Rob's house because her's on sale since January. And since there was construction work at Rob's house since last summer, which is now finished, we thought that was maybe the reason why they bought Kristen's house in the first place and are now selling it, so they can move back to Rob's house. One year of Carey & Marcus
Bauer, Splash
Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford were married on April 21, 2012. Here they are, just after their first anniversary, hand in hand in New York yesterday after lunch. According to the band’s official website, Mumford & Sons isn’t touring again until May 21. Perhaps Marcus can join Carey in Cannes then as her film Inside Llewyn Davis will screen in competition there. Full Story
Dusk Falls on Twilight

Does that even make sense? I don’t know. But I’m running out of times of day. And moon phases. Waning Gibbous on Twilight didn’t sound so good. Anyway, the MTV Movie Award nominations were announced yesterday. Mega Twi-Hard anxiety ensued because Twilight, which has dominated this event for the last few years, only received one nomination… and not even the most important one: Best Kiss. Full Story
Dear Gossips,
Emmanuelle Riva and Daniel Day-Lewis did not show at the Academy’s Nominees Luncheon yesterday. Almost everyone else however was there, either to jockey for position or to get as much out of the experience as possible, because they may never be back. These are important days. Perhaps the most important days as final ballots will go out on Friday which is why several films are still pushing, sending talent out on Q&A sessions with Academy members, confirming attendance at events they’d normally not bother going to, and booking interviews on talk shows and on the late night circuit. Which says to me that, despite Argo taking so many guild awards lately, people still aren’t convinced that there’s no room left. There is, in fact, a lot of room left. And this is still a race, more than ever. Read Full Intro
Chaos Down Under
This is Robert Pattinson in Australia where he’ll be shooting a new movie and staying a while, presumably because it’s not like it’s easy flying back and forth to LA from Adelaide which is apparently where he was headed. So if you live in Adelaide, look out. It might get sh-t crazy. Full Story
Apparently you can’t like both
“Nice try with all your Jennifer Lawrence hype lately Lamey but she’s not winning an Oscar, Bwhahahahahahahahhaha. Kristen should be nominated for On The Road and she’ll get one before JLaw even when bitches like you hold her back, can’t keep this down!” These are the kinds of messages I’ve been receiving via email and Twitter. Twilight’s last carpet
Twilight 5 is expected to earn between $140 - $160 million this weekend. So if you want to see Bond, do you look for it at a community theatre as opposed to heading to the super cinemas where Twi-Hards will have taken over? Click here Full Story
Neon & Print
It’s a great combination. And God, so much more suited to her than the JLO lace and glitter cougar styles that she was working last night in London. Kristen Stewart wore neon to the Spanish premiere of Twilight 5 tonight, complementing the dress with a printed pair of strapped pumps. The messy braid is working too -- young and steezy and fresh. OMG are you ready? Twilight 5 opens wide wide wide tomorrow! So far the reviews have been... decent? The movie is rating over 65% at this writing on Rotten Tomatoes although amusingly enough, even the ones who are coming in on a “fresh” ranking seem to amount to. Full Story

Taking style risks is one thing, and although many people hated her sheer dress choice the other day at the LA premiere of Twilight 5, it was fitted to her body type and there was just enough edge and cool to make it a Kristen Stewart fashionable moment. This however... Here’s Stewart in London once again in Zuhair Murad with a sudden case of the JLOs. Full Story

I like it that Robert Pattinson is adventurous about his suit colours. This suit looks like it could have been fashioned out of a handbag. And it’s enough. Too much would be a spiked out silly cape, like the Spice Girls video for Say You’ll Be There only without the campy irony. Pattinson’s green was a nice complement to his girlfriend’s provocative Zuhair Murad, not my favourite designer (see Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and Jennifer Lopez for previous), but I appreciate the effort to not look like Ashley Greene in a tired, unimaginative indistinguishable flowy princessy gown. Kristen Stewart showed up at the On The Road screening in New York last night in a lot of leather and black eyeliner. Once again, an intentionally “unpretty” look. It’s their sartorial thesis for her, I guess: Kristen Stewart style, punk as f-ck. Some people could never manage - ahem, Ashley Greene - and some have the potential. Full Story
