SEED yourself with a trip to LA -- tonight at 8:30 on CityTV!
Heads up Canada… There’s a new Canadian comedy… Seed is on CityTV every Monday at 8:30pm. Have you been watching? It’s a contemporary version of Friends crossed with Modern Family that follows Harry (Adam Korson), an ill-equipped bachelor whose past sperm donations catch up to him when the kids he was unaware he had sired, and their families, begin entering his life: a lesbian couple and their 9-year-old oddball son, an up-tight, upper-class husband and wife and their rebellious teenage daughter, and an implosive single woman with a ticking biological clock – pregnant with his child – with whom a relationship develops. Seed has been well-received so far, largely on the appeal of its star Adam Korson, who plays “immature” Harry, the harmless bumbling “village idiot” with one prolific skill: his boys make babies real good, as in a lot. What’s on your rara.com playlist?
There’s a lot of vanity that goes into putting together a playlist. It’s one thing to make recommendations, it’s another to know that you’ll be judged on them. And you want your playlist to make you look good. You want your playlist to make people think you have good taste, but that you’re not pretentious, and that you can have fun with music, in addition to being able to, like, lecture about it extensively. What would happen if people made playlists of the most embarrassing songs in their library? Well then I suppose no one would listen. Because even if there are some embarrassing ones here, and there are several, there’s a reason why I can’t/won’t remove it from my library, right? Rara.com Full Story

Sponsored Tingles – 12 Nights of Netflix!
The holidays are fast approaching. And, unlike previous years, I don’t feel like it’s slowing down. By now, normally, I’m writing Best and Worst Lists because celebrities start shutting down, not bothering to waste any good self promotion while everyone’s out shopping for presents, preferring to save it all for January, during award season, when everyone’s back at work and paying attention. Philips Sonicare DiamondClean makes the perfect Holiday gift
The Holidays are just around the corner. When was your first reminder? Mine was the day after Halloween. That’s too early. But now, as we approach the end of November, now is the right time. I like to have all gift shopping done by December 1. A few months ago I told you about the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean after helping with their product launch back in May. Both Jacek and I have been using it every day, twice a day since and I haven’t been more into my teeth. We took it on our trip to Toronto and New York recently and even after a week out of the charging glass (I forgot the adapter to plug in the charging case but it didn’t matter) the brush vibration was as strong as it was fully charged. Celebrity smiles with Philips Sonicare DiamondClean (plus giveaway!)
So we’re two months in to using the DiamondClean. You’ll recall I discussed it here after helping with their product launch back in May. Works like new still, and there’s still that smoothness when I run my tongue across my teeth after brushing. And Jacek is always going on about how his teeth are whiter since starting. He’s a coffee drinker. And he’s right. Now, ugh, if we could work on his other hygiene issues. This is a conversation for another time. We talk all the time about celebrity appearance - the hair (extensions), the skin, the implants, the gym - and all the resources at their disposal to look the way they do. Full Story
Plenty to see at TIFF with Durex
TIFF 2012 madness is in full swing and the first weekend is always when most of the action takes place. Are you going to check out any films? If you plan on Festival hopping this weekend there’s plenty to see and Durex is proud to be a part of it. Ben Affleck’s Argo screens tonight at Roy Thomson Hall after a triumphant showing at the Telluride Film Festival where they all declared it to be a sure Oscar nominee. The Master, also considered a sure Oscar nominee, premieres at the Princess of Wales after Ryan Gosling’s The Place Beyond the Pines (don’t get trampled in the Gosling stampede) and look out for all the Jude Law swooning too at the Elgin where Anna Karenina will be showing.
