Are the same age. I guess there are many different ways of doing it... Here’s Michelle Pfeiffer this weekend at the premiere of People Like Us. She looks lovely. She doesn’t look like she’s fighting it. Do you remember her in Tequila Sunrise? This is my favourite Mel Gibson movie. Full Story
Johnny & Co in London

Johnny Depp and the Dark Shadows team were in London tonight for the UK premiere. Is it freaking you out too that Michelle Pfeiffer and Chloe Moretz look and act the same age? It’s a compliment for one and not a compliment for the other. Obviously no one here approaches the amazingness of Helena Bonham Carter. Full Story
Bad movies people will see
More trailer analysis... I don’t actually know how a movie like New Year’s Eve keeps making itself. But now you know why Ashton Kutcher went back to television. Even he couldn’t stand this sh-t anymore. Let’s put the tall guy and the short girl together and make them kiss! What is it? It’s a series of cute formulaic movie scenes with so called Chick Lit snappy dialogue. Full Story
Michelle Jackie O
Michelle Pfeiffer was photographed in New York today on the set of New Year's Eve. As you can see, she's in costume as an older woman. And, to me at least, looks like Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the later part of her life. Yes? I like that she hasn't touched her lips. It's that lip thing again, see? If you leave them alone, it's less obvious if you've f-cked around with anything else. Full Story
Michelle’s family Gaga
This is cute. Michelle Pfeiffer and David E Kelley were photographed in New York yesterday. They hit up an art gallery with their children, Claudia Rose and John, and then they all went to the Lady Gaga show at Madison Square Garden. Can you imagine going with your parents to see Lady Gaga? My Squawking Chicken would lose her f-cking mind. Full Story
Pippy’s asskissing favours
Love these pictures. True Grit premiered last night in Hollywood. You know how it is. Any time the Coen Brothers make a movie it’s a major award season event. True Grit is said to be a strong contender. They were calling it a strong contender even last summer. So...guess who showed up? Oh hi Pipsqueak. Full Story
Battle of the Faces
Michelle Pfeiffer is 9 years older than Nicole Kidman. Almost a decade! Can you tell? Stitch for stitch, shot for shot, Michelle’s work – if there is work – is far superior. Michelle Pfeiffer, wow, is ageless. And it’s not even scary! Stunning, right? This is Michelle with Rupert Friend (better known as Keira Knightley’s boyfriend but poised to break out this year in a few high profile projects) at the Berlin Film Festival today promoting Cheri that tells the story of a French courtesan and her much younger lover. At Any Age
Michelle Pfeiffer tonight in London for the UK premiere of Stardust. Damn. To say she looks incredible for 49 is missing the point - she looks incredible for any age, non? I’m a solid 15 years younger and I’d kill to come close. Most 20 year olds would do the same. This bitch is flawless. Full Story
Fair is Fair
The gay vote is unanimous. Every ‘mo I know loved Hairspray. And many, many girls too. So if you’re into musicals, be assured Hairspray is not the colossal bore that Dreamgirls was. Scientologists are invincible, non? Still, his success also means Michelle Pfeiffer’s triumphant comeback. Full Story
The Daily Girlcrush: Michelle Pfeiffer
There"s a movie I love called Married to the Mob - totally lite Sunday afternoon enjoyment but some of the performances are absolute gold. Like Mercedes Ruehl as the pyschotic possessive mafia wife, kills me every time I watch. So anyway, for many reasons, including Dangerous Liaisons and even Dangerous Minds, and for the quiet way she"s lived her life for the last decade, prioritising children over Hollywood, I adore Michelle Pfeiffer. Guesses, guesses, guesses
Lance Armstrong does not play the sympathy card. But you’re very, very close, geographically speaking. The Belle from Hell is not Farrah Fawcett or Suzanne Somers. Full Story
Loving John Malkovich
Have you seen Dangerous Liaisons? With Glenn Close and Michelle Pfeiffer and the incomparable John Malkovich? If not, you"re missing out. Go get it. It is the most beautifully written, elegant movie, like, ever. The dialogue is sublime. I remember watching it with my friend Julia in high school and walking around for several days afterwards speaking in riddles with an affected British accent (just like Gwyneth!) until my friends told me to shut the f*ck up.
