Taraji P Henson Gossip
Taraji P Henson gossip, latest news, photos, and video.
Something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. It started a few weeks ago when I ended up reading an article about Steve Urkel. I can’t remember how I found that post but it gave me a lot of nostalgia about the television I watched growing up. There was The Cosby Show and A Different World. Full Story

Taraji P Henson and Terrence Howard are at the Monte Carlo TV Festival promoting Empire, probably the most VIP stars at the event so far. Because Empire, as you know, has been one of the biggest f-cking deals in television this year. And that makes Taraji a very big deal. You know how you can tell? She’s getting the clothes. Full Story
Man oh man, is it good to be The Hollywood Reporter this year. That is, they’re doing what they always do - including the actresses who are most likely to get an Emmy nomination or to be discussed if they don’t get an Emmy nomination – but these women are the most interesting we’ve had in years. Taraji P Henson was named Best Actress in a Drama Series last night at the Critics’ Choice TV Awards. As you know, Empire was arguably the most successful series premiere of the season. And the critics have been quick to honour new talent and creativity – they were the first (and few) to recognise Tatiana Maslany’s work in Orphan Black. Full Story

Lee Daniels, Taraji P Henson, Gabourey Sidibe, and Jussie Smollett represented Empire yesterday at the FOX Upfronts. And, bonus, Terrence Howard wasn’t there to ruin the pictures. The big question was how many episodes. Empire’s first season had 12 episodes. Next? 18 split in 2 half seasons. Full Story
Taraji P Henson covers the new issue of EBONY. And she’s making headlines for a quote about restaurant reservations and being treated like she’s on the D-list, even though she was nominated for an Oscar not too long ago and working more consistently than many others over the last few years.
"I'm treated like I'm on the D-list. I'm still being considered with actresses who haven't done half the stuff I've achieved."

She has a point.
LOVE HER SO MUCH. My Marion’s Funny or Die video – a cheeky acknowledgment of her superior French gorgessity and a man’s obsession with breasts. She also looks ridiculously beautiful in this shoot. The most amazing skin, great eye makeup, sleek and chic and sophisticated, and if Jacek ever had a chance (obviously never), I’d pack his bags for him and send him on his way. Full Story
I love her so much. I love that there aren’t five million things attached to her head. I love that if I told you she woke up with hair looking pretty much like this you’d believe me. Don’t you prefer when someone shows up on a carpet knocking it out of the stratosphere without seeming like they agonised over it for a month? Like Kate Beckinsale? Or, ahem, me? Anyway. Full Story
Today at the Essence Magazine Black Women in Hollywood Awards Luncheon – Halle Berry as usual looking immortal, even though the dress might be a little Kate Beckinsale for an afternoon event. Love how Kate Beckinsale is now synonymous with Overdress. I am STILL offended by her Grammy gown. Anyway, not sure how I feel about the business going on at the back of Halle there… You like? Is it a squirrel? Anyway, also at the event, also gorgeous – Supporting Actress nominee Taraji P Henson. Full Story
Benjamin Button’s brightest star looked like heaven last night in form-fitting white and an open back and restrained accessories and unfussy hair. Hustle & Flow was one of the options on the plane flying over here. Yet another reminder of her scene-stealing abilities. Scene-stealing from bland Brad Pitt is one thing…but stealing from Terrence Howard is another. Full Story
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button – it’s a good movie, it’s an enjoyable movie, it’s a three hour movie and enduring it isn’t horrible at all… But … That’s it. My problem with Benjamin Button is that I didn’t really care about Benjamin Button. Full Story
