Zayn Malik has achieved what One Direction couldn’t: Pillowtalk is #1 in its first week on the Billboard Hot 100. Part of that, of course, has to do with One Direction fan support, certainly. But a lot of it is how he’s managed his profile the last couple of months. And that has everything to do with Gigi Hadid. It wouldn’t mean much though if the song was sh-t. And the song is not only not sh-t, it has range.
Based solely on what gets played at my house, Jacek, for example, won’t listen to One Direction. He does, however, have a lot of time for Pillowtalk. Which, by the way, isn’t a euphemism for having sex because there is no sex. Our puppy sh-ts in the house too much for sex. Have you met Elvis?
Anyway, Zayn’s new album, Mind Of Mine, is out in March, marking the one year anniversary of when he broke up with Harry, Louis, Niall, and Liam. In 20 years, millions of girls around the world will talk about how that was when they grew up and saw the darkness of life.
