Duana posted an article yesterday about Jennifer Love Hewitt, the executive producer of The Client List who is insisting on having her real life fiancé and baby father be the baby father of her character on the show, even though, creatively, the showrunner isn’t in support of that storyline. The Emmy Award nominations will be announced on July 18. Jimmy Kimmel Live has submitted two entries for consideration -- his post-Oscar show and the one from January 24, when Matt Damon took over and finally had his revenge. Did you watch it? Click here for a recap that I posted after it aired. Damon was great. And the fact that he was willing? Even better. But, unfortunately -- and kind of hilariously -- for Damon, if Kimmel wins the Emmy based on his performance, he will not be eligible for the Emmy. Something to do with an Academy rule change that happened in 2009.
Private Eyes Are Watching You
It is not remotely the most interesting scene from the show -- I’m not sure it’s even the most interesting from the episode in question -- but when I think of Veronica Mars, I often think about the scene in season 2 where Veronica tries to set up Vinnie with a bugged pen, and he sings out the window to her to show her it hasn’t worked.
