Never not pregnant
I tweeted the following yesterday: Is Mark Wahlberg’s wife never NOT pregnant? Because for real, she’s pregnant, like, all the time. It’s remarkable fertility. Anyway, so many people Twitter replied at me with sentiments similar to the following: If I was his wife I would be pregnant all the time too! He’s hot! I don’t know if getting it from Marky Mark a couple of times a year makes up for having to carry that load around for 9 months EVERY YEAR. Full Story
Who’s the other one?
LOVE this video. Chris Rock and Nia Long are promoting his documentary Good Hair. During this random, hilarious interview, somehow the discussion turns to white dudes dating black girls. And then Justin Timberlake comes up. And then Marky Mark. And then Brad Pitt, at which point Chris reveals that he knows for a fact that Brad has bedded at least 2 black women. Full Story
He’s a cop
Again. Why do I feel like he only plays cops? This post is for my friend Ammie. We talked last night after not talking in forever – we’re busy, she has a baby, they live in Toronto – and Ammie LOVES Marky Mark. He’s in New York, photographed today on the set of The Other Guys with Will Ferrell who desperately needs a hit movie. Full Story
Ready for a rant-off?
Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg have signed on to a new biopic called The Fighter about Irish Mickey Ward. Bale will play Marky Mark’s half brother who ends up training him. As E! pointed out, the director is none other than David O Russell who, like Christian, had a meltdown on the set of I Heart Huckabees in a tirade against Lily Tomlin. Full Story
Best Date Ever
Are we there yet? How about now? The wait is too long! Tina Fey and Steve Carell starring together in a comedy called Date Night. Please. That alone would be enough. But add Leighton Meester to the mix to bring some Blair Waldorf flavour, and a touch of the impossibly adorable Taraji P Henson, fresh off her Oscar nomination, and now… Marky Mark and my #1 James Franco have just confirmed Full Story
Marky Mark hates Xenu
This is Mark Wahlberg with his long suffering but ultimately rewarded baby mother today at a medical centre either on his way to play golf or just coming back from. Max Payne, Mark’s most recent film last month came and went at the box office, no doubt a major disappointment. At least he has Entourage. Full Story
The Man Show is back
Never met a straight dude who didn’t like Entourage. Like it’s a handshake or something. Even if they don’t like it they have to like it. The show’s fifth season begins on Sunday on HBO and on TMN and Movie Central in Canada. Full cast and even Marky Wahlberg turned out on the carpet last night in New York. Full Story
Marky Mark to marry

Ryan Gosling: Not Mr Salmon
He’s been chubby for a while, gaining weight to play Susie Salmon’s father in the film adaptation of The Lovely Bones directed by Peter Jackson. Filming just started yesterday and Ryan and Susan Sarandon (who plays the grandmother) were both spotted in Malvern, PA over the weekend eating at Trader Joe’s and grabbing coffee at Starbucks (thanks Nicole!). Which One is Turtle?
Mark Wahlberg and his crew in NYC on promo for his new movie Shooter. As for why he’s dressed like that… I have no idea. But another great example of why the “Pants” thing” is so important. Because this? This = quiveration zero. Full Story
The Daily Lagerfeld: Marky Manorexic
Something tells me Le Karl would approve very much, something tells me the bitch beating fan will not need to make an appearance for Mark Wahlberg, shown here at the premiere of The Departed - cute but a little gaunt and while we"re at it, speaking from my Hong Kong heart, please please please don"t let them rape Infernal Affairs.
