Dear Gossips,

Was obsessed with two videos yesterday:

Marcel the Shell with shoes on, three!

“That’s the hot zone.”

Yes, of course. We should have been talking a lot more about Jenny Slate. I watched Obvious Child a few weeks ago on demand and I keep waiting for Duana to see it so that we can talk about it together – the writing, the dialogue, Jenny’s easy, natural charm. And of course the takeaway: it’s OK if you don’t feel bad about making that decision; you don’t have to feel bad about Choice.

Then there’s FKA twigs for Google Glass. As Salon posited yesterday “FKA twigs is the only person who should be allowed to wear Google Glass”. Everyone else is called a “glasshole”. Twigs is indeed the “coolest thing to happen to Google Glass, ever”, per Jezebel but, I mean, it’s not like anyone else can walk around blinking up and down and shifting their heads back and forth with those glasses on their face and not look like a f-cking douchebag, even with the styling because …do you have those moves?

Yours in gossip,

Lainey

Has anyone had a run like Matthew McConaughey has had the last few years? He’s transformed his career, won an Oscar, and gone from stock rom-com alpha male to one of the biggest and most in demand actors in the world. And he’s done it without seeming to change anything about his persona. Full Story
