Supernatural continued shooting in Vancouver yesterday as Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki were dressed up in suits trying to stay cool, particularly Jared with his mini-fan. Having seen him sweat (at Comic-Con), I don’t understand why they don’t have a full on portable A/C unit blowing arctic air in his face. Full Story

Last week I shot an ad spot for a promo on our network. It’s a 30 second commercial and everyone was really lovely and I met some great people, but the actual work of it, it made me so happy I’m not an actor. Acting is just so weird. It’s weird delivering dialogue with specific hand motions and your head held exactly so with a voice that isn’t your own and emphasis on words and parts of the sentence you wouldn’t normally emphasise. Full Story

Supernatural is back in Vancouver after hiatus, just beginning work on Season 7. And the first episode is to be directed by Jensen Ackles. Here’s Ackles on set yesterday with co-star Jared Padalecki. As previously noted, requests come in for Supernatural photos all the time. This is the first entry of the year. Fans of the show are loyal. And, also as already noted, f-cking crazy. Some are convinced that the show's two leads are secret lovers. What is it with this secret lover business? Yesterday during the liveblog, the same thing was brought up about Glee stars Lea Michele and Dianna Agron!? A fringe Gleek group is convinced those two have some kind of undercover romantic relationship. Full Story

Although the weather forecast is never reliable in Vancouver, they say it’s supposed to start cooling down after tomorrow. We’ve had a very good stretch of heat and sunshine which has certainly helped with my low rounds on the golf course – it's an addiction now, now that I’ve shot 95, I’m convinced I can go down to 90, especially since I had 2 quads the other day. Full Story

Just like Vampire Diaries, there are a lot of requests that come in for Supernatural, especially since I live in Vancouver where they shoot the show. So here are some new photos from the set yesterday. I have interviewed Misha Collins a few times for junket and interviews, most recently at Comic-Con – he’s very sweet – and Jensen Ackles for the first time at the Entertainment Weekly party in San Diego and he was ok nice too although, as noted yesterday, f-ck me, at the time I talked to him I also was clueless about the fact that he used to deal with my Porny Jessica Simpson. Full Story
