Big day for Taylor Swift yesterday. She received the most American Music Award nominations. The show airs November 22. Also announced yesterday – Taylor will co-chair the Costume Institute Gala next May. It’s the dress porn event of the year. Honourary co-chairs include Nicholas Ghesquiere, Miuccia Prada, and Karl Lagerfeld. So Taylor’s either wearing Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Miu Miu, or Prada? GREAT. Because I can’t look at her in another Elie Saab.
Taylor’s been a guest to the MET Gala several times already. You know who else has been known to hit up the MET Gala? Katy Perry. Does that mean Katy’s skipping the ball in 2016?
More importantly though… Idris Elba was also confirmed as co-chair. Let’s go ahead then and call him best dressed 6 months in advance. Am attaching some shots of Idris from Dubai and New York that I never had a chance to post a couple of weeks ago. Seems a good way to start the day. It’s a nervous day where I am, especially this afternoon.
