Maggie Gyllenhaal spent the day in Toronto promoting her new film. Photos are attached of her at the Magnum sponsored premiere of Hysteria. Hysteria is based on the true story of the invention of the vibrator. Like, we get in there. Which is why Maggie went there during the press conference and subsequent junket interviews before the gala. Full Story

OK maybe the other way around. But it’s quite possible given how good the bars are. Have you tried one yet? They’re being offered to celebrities in the etalk lounge at TIFF and even they who, you know, don’t eat for a living, are incapable of resisting. Our festival sponsor Magnum is also the sole sponsor of tonight’s Hysteria premiere at Roy Thomson Hall. Directed by Tanya Wexler, the film features Maggie Gyllenhaal, Hugh Dancy, Rupert Everett, and Felicity Jones. PS. I’ve seen Hugh Dancy almost every night he’s been here. SO pretty. And really quite a gentleman. Anyway, Hysteria is about dropping some science on the female ‘O’ and the early vibrator and being stuffy and English and really, really funny about it… back in the old days. Full Story

It occurred to me that you could, in theory, bitch on Olivia Wilde’s ass for making everyone look like sh-t last night at the Butter premiere. But then again, Jennifer Garner has her own personal bodyguard. So there’s no reason she can’t find a better dress. Is a pink sparkly ballet bridesmaid cotton candy tinkerbell REALLY the best choice for a pregnant lady? Really??? It’s infantile and gross. Full Story
