Skyfall is getting great reviews. Some people, prone to hyperbole, are even proclaiming that Skyfall is so great, it qualifies as the best Bond ever. They’ll be fighting over that forever. Let’s just agree then that Skyfall is better than the disappointing Quantum Of Solace and returns to the standard of Casino Royale which (come on, can we not fight about this one?) was awesome. Full Story

Daniel Craig, new Bond Girls Naomie Harrie, Berenice Marlohe, and the rest of the Bond team including director Sam Mendes attended a photo call in Istanbul yesterday where many previous Bonds have filmed before; it’s apparently Ian Fleming’s “favourite city”. As expected they’ve kept the story for Bond Skyfall pretty locked but some speculate that the relationship between Bond and M is tested when sh-t from her past comes back to f-ck things up. Full Story

That might be the nicest way of saying it. When Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes first announced their separation, there were rumours that Rebecca Hall might be involved. I was relieved when it appeared there was nothing to back up the claim. Because I love her. 18 months later and Mendes has confirmed that he and Hall are indeed in a relationship although both sides insist that it started well after his marriage ended. Full Story

That’s obviously not what married people want to hear but Kate Winslet is working some kind of divorce glow. Here she is photographed for the second day in a row this morning with soon-to-be ex husband but still bff, Sam Mendes, taking the children to school. Many of you are convinced that Kate has been subtly enhanced. Full Story

This is what the British tabloids are trying to insinuate. That Rebecca Hall was the reason Kate Winslet left Sam Mendes although they stop well short of suggesting that Hall and Mendes had an affair.
