Michael Kors dressed a lot of people last night including Jessica Alba and Hilary Swank. I mean, there’s nothing technically wrong with this, or any of his other guests, with one major exception, but it’s really not all that exciting either, is it? Is this Met Gala worthy? There’s Alba’s one shoulder burnt gold that’s forgettable at best and Swank’s in unremarkable red with a high collar that you know you’ve seen before just in a different colour and maybe with a small variation in detail. Full Story

And when those two collaborated, we ended up with Killers, maybe one of the worst pieces of sh-t movies of the last 20 years, slightly worse than another piece of sh-t called Life As We Know It, starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel. Full Story

Bollywood took over Toronto this weekend for the International Indian Film Academy Awards with some of the biggest Bollywood stars in attendance. It’s the first time in the history of the event that it’s taken place in North America. This is no small deal. 16,000 tickets sold out in a matter of minutes. Full Story

The Screen Actors Guild announced their nominations this morning. There will be no Pitt Porn at the SAGs. Angelina Jolie was not nominated for Best Actress in The Tourist. Michelle Williams was also not nominated for Best Actress for her work in Blue Valentine. Instead, Hilary Swank took the 5th spot for Conviction which, well, Swank has pretty much been ignored by everyone else so far so I guess she has more friends in the Guild. Full Story

The premiere was this afternoon, here's Hilary Swank on the carpet promoting what they're all calling her next Oscar nominated role. Again! The buzz around this performance is big. I haven't seen it because I covered Les Petits Mouchoirs (Little White Lies) today but early speculation is that when they call the 5 names in the running for Best Actress in January, Swank is supposed to be a lock for her role in a true story about a woman defending her brother who's been convicted of murder. Full Story

Ewan and his wife turned up at the Amelia premiere in New York last night – he said he agreed to do the movie because he and Hilary Swank have been friends for years.
