Rooney Mara and Kate Mara were at the CFDA Awards last night in New York. Rooney posed with Francisco Costa. She wore Calvin Klein. Kate wore Dolce & Gabbana. I haven’t been able to find any photos of the sisters together. If you see one, let me know. First, I think we need stop saying that The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is some kind of big disappointment. Did it fail to dominate the holiday movie season? Yes. Is going to pass the hundred-million mark at the box office? Yes. Let’s call it even. After a lackluster opening, Dragon Tattoo has been a surprisingly steady performer for Sony, which is likely why they’re going ahead with the sequels, The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest (the second option being sheer stubbornness). Full Story

I was quick to jump on the US Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movie bandwagon after the first trailers were released. I was ready to love it. To be super impressed.
