Ben Kingsley’s the Mandarin is apparently the villain in the upcoming, highly anticipated Iron Man 3. And here’s Iron Man wearing a mandarin style jacket while promoting the film in Beijing this weekend at the Ancestral Imperial Temple. It’s Robert Downey Jr’s birthday today. He’s 48. And he’s celebrating in Seoul promoting Iron Man 3. I wonder if he’d be willing to fly over to Pyongyang and talk some sense into that child running the North who thinks that life is a video game. Despite continued assurances that Iron Man 3 won’t be all that dark, every new round of promotional imagery points toward a more serious, edgier tone than we’ve seen from Tony Stark & Co. to date. Poor Lainey is going to have a heart attack, thinking something bad happens to Pepper because every new image shows her looking increasingly more sad/depressed. Full Story
