Um, yes, please, YES
Sarah wrote yesterday in her Godzilla post that Sam Taylor-Johnson is her hero.
Godzilla is on its way. And Aaron Taylor-Johnson is on promotion. Some people are saying that Godzilla could be like John Carter which…really? Even though Bryan Cranston’s in it? Oh. Wait. Bryan Cranston was in John Carter too.
Even if that turns out to be the case, it doesn’t mean that Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s career will stall the way of Taylor Kitsch’s. For starters, ATJ is in The Avengers. So, um, definitely NOT Taylor Kitsch.
But I’m stalling.
I’m just stalling you from looking at these photos. GODDAMN Aaron Taylor-Johnson. GODDAMN.
He’s 23 now. They’ve been together for 5 years. Since he was 18 years old. And he tells NYLON that pre-Sam, he was wild, he was druggy, he f-cked a lot of girls. And then he met her and the “oats were sewn”. And that sounds very reasonable and totally understandable…for a 30 year old. But you have to remember, he decided to “sew his oats” when he was 18!!!!
It will never, ever, ever be not fascinating to me. Ever.
ATJ goes on to say that instead of hanging at the club these days, he’s at daddy and baby play groups, singing and dancing. And that he had to cut off a few friends who couldn’t get down with his situation with Sam. And now, a father of four, he’s working on a career as an action hero. They’ve officially relocated to Los Angeles.
Why does this make me uncomfortable?
These two interviews are the most “movie star” that ATJ has ever felt. And they just got to Hollywood. Let’s keep an eye on this.
