The Academy announced today that Jack Nicholson and Dustin Hoffman will present at the Oscars on Sunday. Some call Nicholson the unofficial mascot of the Oscars. And Hoffman, well, you don’t need me to explain why he’s a legend. Needless to say, then, given the gravitas of both actors, we should probably see them towards the end of the show. Full Story

Remember how excited you were about Ricky Gervais and he sh-t on your hopes? Remember how you secretly hoped Anne Hathaway and James Franco would be awesome together but instead, Franco predictably shrank from the stage like a coward, leaving Hathaway flailing her arms in compensation? Remember all the disappointment? Every time the disappointment?

As mentioned earlier, Angelina Jolie and the cast of Kung Fu Panda, including Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman, were at the Palais today for a presser and a photo call. Dylan and I saw Jack Black in Old Cannes last night walking up St Antoine to have dinner. The stars don't usually roll like that here. Full Story

Kelly had her hair done Marilyn Monroe styles, in a bedazzled silver teacup dress, like Balenciaga 2 yrs ago. Kelly is thin, small, and shy. Didn't seem entirely comfortable, almost as though she was asking herself how she got here. Full Story

Emma Thompson and Dustin Hoffman at the UK premiere of Last Chance Harvey. Look at them dancing! The cutest! Dustin also brought along his wife Lisa and their daughter. He ADORES his wife. Has done for many, many years. And they’re naughty. More like HE’s naughty. When I interviewed him in Cannes last year he kept joking about men being horny. Full Story
