It was 50 years ago that Cleopatra was released. It was the movie that brought together Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. A restored version of the film was screened in Cannes tonight, presented by Jessica Chastain. Taylor’s son Chris Wilding and Burton’s daughter Kate were expected to attend. Full Story

God Jake Gyllenhaal looked handsome last night at opening night of his off-Broadway play If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet. I mean, I’m not into the beard, but even that beard can’t take away from how attractive he is. Lawless opens next week. I saw it in Cannes. This is when I started summer crushing on Tom Hardy mostly for his relationship with Jessica Chastain in the film.
