It was reported in early February that Kate Winslet had joined the cast of Divergent but there was no confirmation at the time what role she’d be playing. Kate Winslet was photographed in London yesterday shopping at Tesco in black-rimmed glasses wearing her wedding ring, the first time it’s been seen since she was confirmed to have married Ned Rock’nroll late last year. Word is she’s negotiating for a part in the film adaptation, scheduled to begin shooting in the Spring in Chicago. Someone from Summit even tweeted that her involvement is confirmed, before pulling down the tweet later on. In 2009, Kate narrated a documentary from Iceland about Margret Ericsdottir and her son Keli Thorsteinsson’s experience with a severe form of non-verbal autism; Keli cannot speak. I was relieved when it appeared there was nothing to back up the claim.
