Remember when Ryan Gosling made a movie and took it to Cannes and everyone hated it? Well, that movie, Lost River, is coming out this April and it has a trailer, and it is some straight up art school sh*t. This trailer has everything—Malickian voice over shots of people walking in nature, Lynchian weirdos, and Nicholas Winding Refn’s color palette. Full Story

Both our dogs are sick. Barney’s kept us up two nights in a row with an ear infection and Marcus has been a conehead for almost two weeks because he has a lump on his dick that we’re still trying to figure out. Which is why I’m particularly vulnerable to this Tom Brady ad with his dog Lua.
It doesn’t make want to buy a pair of UGGs. That’s what they’re selling here. Not that I don’t have UGGs to kick around the house in. But I’m not seeing Tom Brady with his dog on the beach and thinking to myself, sh-t, Jacek needs to start wearing UGGs.
Anyway, I’ve attached the video below.

Not going to lie… Tom Hardy might have peaked at TIFF too early. It was Friday night and Saturday morning. And he was followed by Cara Delevingne and The Riot Club boys and Eddie Redmayne and Andrew Garfield and my two fried laptops and Mike Tyson just lost his sh-t in our building on a news anchor and suddenly it’s Wednesday afternoon. Dogs love Tom Hardy. It’s why he always seems to be surrounded by dogs. His own dog, Woodstock (or Woody), is always on set with him. When he’s on set, all kinds of little dogs show up for licks and pets. Look at that. They’re all over him and his dog musk. I’m not complaining. Full Story

Hot Prince Harry spoke today at an Invictus Games announcement for the British Armed Forces team in London. At one point, the wind took his speech away, and he’d already been bracing for the teasing that would result from his speech-giving. Video of his appearance is below. For me though, the highlight of the day is Harry with the dog. Full Story
Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder went for a run yesterday with their dogs. They apparently both like shepherds. Me too. German Shepherds have the most gorgeous gait. It’s like a loping dance. I appreciate that Nikki interrupted her rhythm to pick up some sh-t. Makes me crazy when runners just leave it because they don’t want to lose time. Full Story

Tom Hardy continues to shoot Legend in London. There was a kissing scene with Emily Browning in the car. But during break… There were a lot of kisses with the dog. His own dog. That looks like Woodstock. He adopted Woodstock with Jessica Chastain – because the two of them are super method like that – when they were working on Lawless. Full Story

Anne Hathaway is currently shooting The Intern, the new Nancy Meyers movie. You know Nancy Meyers. It’s Complicated, Something’s Gotta Give, Father Of The Bride… What I like: Meyers writes for people over 45. What I’m not that into: Meyers’s films are like the Williams-Sonoma of movies. Full Story
Miley Cyrus has had to cancel two shows this week because she’s been hospitalised with an “allergic reaction” which some people are comparing to Lindsay Lohan’s “exhaustion”. I don’t blame you. We’ve been conditioned over the last decade when it comes to young celebrities to be skeptical of their excuses. Full Story
While everyone else was on the award circuit and at Sundance this weekend, Mrs Carter went to Washington. She just woke up like that… in the White House. As you know, Beyonce and the Obamas are tight. So she was invited to Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday party this weekend where she also sang some songs – Irreplaceable and Single Ladies – and hung out with Bo. Full Story
If only he could take back those 2 weeks in July, you know? If only they could be completely deleted from his gossip history, cookies that can never be recovered. If only the Henry Cavill and Gina Carano story could be written without what happened when he decided to go handholding and hiking with Kaley Cuoco. Full Story
Prince William’s CNN interview doesn’t air until September, around the time Princess Catherine is scheduled to make her first public appearance at the Tusk Trust Awards. The Tusk Trust is why Will agreed to speak to CNN – to advocate for African wildlife. Naturally, everyone else is focusing on the apparently wild future king who’s approaching his 1 month birthday.
