Game Of Thrones Season 4 Episode 2 recap Okay, NOW. Now we begin! Maybe. If you’re ready. If you’ve managed to erase that face from your mind you must not be human, or were looking down at your iPad most of the time. That has stayed with me through repeated viewings. Shudder. Those repeated viewings taught me that the last 2/3 of the show are basically a parade of people who could have done it, so let’s first deal with the parts of the show that aren’t that. Full Story
HBO announced yesterday that Game Of Thrones has been renewed for two more seasons after Sunday’s record-breaking ratings for the premiere of Season 4. That would, in theory, catch the show up with how many books have been released – five to date. As Duana mentioned in Monday’s recap – click here if you missed it – we’ve not read the books. And don’t intend to. For me it’s partly because, um, I can’t make it through the writing. Also, since the show is SO f-cking good, why should I?
Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 1 recap “Lots of people name their swords.” “Lots of c-nts.” COME ON! Welcome back to Westeros. It felt like it was an awfully long time this time, didn’t it? Every time, but especially this time, because we have been so completely sure that we need to MOVE. Full Story
"Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come."
ARE YOU READY???
Sunday night it comes. Season 4, Game Of Thrones, 9pm on HBO Canada. We’ve been waiting 10 long months for this. And we only get it for 10 short weeks. So speak in an English accent and get all melodramatic if you want to. Because this is the show that has everything. I’ve not read the books but I have watched the first 3 episodes and after what happens in just the first third, I can’t even imagine how much more f-cked up and amazing it’s all going to be. Game Of Thrones Season 4 premiere happened last night. April 6. April 6 is almost here. You know, I heard from a producer the other day that she didn’t think Game Of Thrones was a big enough deal to cover? I was enraged. And also I wondered where she’s been because. Because Game Of Thrones is not only a big deal, it’s quite possibly the ONLY deal. Full Story
I screamed seeing this cover. I mean it’s all of them, obviously. But last season really pushed me into the arms of Jaime Lannister. And goddamn he is hot. Especially in the behind-the-scenes video. Also I’m jacking this hair for The Social. Both the Khaleesi and Cersei. God I love this show. Full Story
Says Littlefinger in the new trailer for Game Of Thrones Season 4. Is that how the show manages to stay ahead of its peers? Dragons! Big, big dragons, I can hear Sarah screaming. Oh yes, the Khaleesi’s dragons look enormous now, circling their mother, the mother of dragons, as she leans back wantonly on a cliff, overlooking that which she aims to conquer. Full Story
How happy are you to know that they hang out, like when they’re not working, they just hang out on a Sunday in LA? Check out Emilia Clarke, Rose Leslie, and Kit Harington yesterday in LA. They’re close. Rose and Kit used to date, and Rose and Emilia were seen earlier in the day making cute faces at each other, very tactile, over lunch. Full Story

What I want is for Game Of Thrones to come back. April 6th. We are inside 3 months now. And HBO just released the first full trailer yesterday. So many thoughts, so many questions. It’s been forever since we’ve seen Jaime not dirty. I am feeling his short hair. I’m feeling it in all the right places. Full Story
The Golden Globes are on Sunday, as you know. Which is why LAX is busy. So many actors are flying in for the weekend – the pre-parties, the after-parties, the show… you have to be there – to be seen, to be talked to, to work the rooms, whether or not you are nominated. And that’s where we find Jon Snow and the Khaleesi. Full Story
The Khaleesi is back in Croatia to shoot Season 4 of Game Of Thrones. HBO has yet to announce a premiere date but it can’t be more than 6 months away, right? In fact, it should be LESS than 6 months away. That doesn’t help, I know, but 6 months is better than 9 months. I guess. So there’s to be another wedding in Season 4 – the Purple Wedding. Full Story
They should probably be heading back to work soon on Season 4, non? GET ON IT! Here are Arya Stark and Gendry the Baratheon bastard at the Tower of London last night at the launch of Season 3 on blinkbox in England. With all the advancements we’ve had in just about everything, you’d think tv people could figure out how to simulcast, non? These pictures won’t help the problem of those Arya-Gendry shippers who want the two characters to make romance in Westeros. Full Story
