Pepperony Porn!

But why can’t it be Iron Pepper? After all, she wears the suit now, and don’t yell at me about spoilers because that scene is in the trailer. I saw Iron Man 3 in a screening room on the Disney lot on Saturday which ended up being cooler than I thought it would be. Can’t say much about it yet except that I now have a raging, raging, RAGING hurt for Robert Downey Jr in a Five List kind of way, only more. Full Story

A few members of the cast of Game Of Thrones, along with George R R Martin and showrunners, David Benioff and DB Weiss, were at the television academy yesterday in advance of the Season 3 premiere on March 31... Are you ready?!? Did I mention Arya is adorable in real life and Bran is SO pretty it’s unfair? There’s none of that Hollywood Machine Child to either of them. Full Story

Am writing from LAX, heading home to Vancouver after a few days in LA. This was my itinerary, and I promise, there's a point: Last week we were in Toronto, flew back to Vancouver on Friday, arriving at 7pm PT. Twelve hours later I was back at the airport for an 8am PT flight to Edmonton only to connect to Los Angeles, to get here in time for a screening. Full Story
Game Of Thrones is better than movie stars

Covered the Game Of Thrones Season 3 premiere red carpet last night at the Chinese Theatre. The last time I covered a movie carpet at the Chinese Theatre it was Gangster Squad in January. The carpet was easily 4 times longer. And with 4 times LESS people. Or more. You can imagine how long the cast list was last night for GoT, right? We’ve been conditioned at these events to expect that they’ll arrive just before the start of the screening and not stop and make you feel that they’re doing you a favour by showing up and talking. Nicholas Hoult: 2 for 2
A great week is only getting better, starting the second day in a row with Nicholas Hoult, currently in the #2 position on my Five List. Here he is in a well tailored suit at the premiere of Warm Bodies in Rome. My cousin Cat wrote to me yesterday, “I can’t believe About A Boy is so hot! I loved him in that movie!” I’m telling you, in person it’s even better. Full Story
Kristen Stewart’s labels
Here’s Kristen Stewart’s Vanity Fair spread by the ever-unimaginative Mario Testino. Are we ever going to be over him? Mario Testino is the Jay Leno of photographers. Chill Twi-Hards. I’m not saying she’s not beautiful. She is always beautiful, and if you could read properly I wouldn’t have to repeat this so many times. Full Story

Charlize Theron left LA yesterday to make the morning show rounds in New York today. Snow White And The Huntsman opens on Friday. My review will be posted later this week. I saw the movie a few weeks ago in England while on the junket. We were about 90 minutes outside of London, a small town called Arundel, where stands an old castle that they used as the backdrop for the interviews. Full Story
Summer Crushing Tom Hardy

Maybe because I haven’t actually had a proper Summer Crush in a really long time. Maybe because it happened so unexpectedly. I mean, Lawless is not a romance, nor will it be sold as one. But the relationship between Tom Hardy and Jessica Chastain is as romantic as you’ll see, more romantic than most intended love stories. Full Story

Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth were on Good Morning America today to promote The Avengers. Does it still need promoting at this point? The overseas box office for the film is already almost at $200 million. Can you stand the next 4 days? I’m telling you - if you go to the movies to have fun, The Avengers will deliver. Full Story
The Avengers In Russia

My interviews with The Avengers from the weekend junket will be airing on etalk all week. Proper reviews are still embargoed but apparently the geeks are more than satisfied with what Joss Whedon has accomplished. Like we’re talking mega nerd approval. Me I have no idea what the nerds want. What I wanted was more than just special effects and explosions. Full Story
Better in chairs
I know you know what I mean. I know I don’t have to explain. Here are Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and Alexander Ludwig (he plays Cato) on The Marilyn Denis show in Toronto this morning to promote The Hunger Games, obviously. Hutcherson and Hemsworth were paired - and seated - during the junket, and have been, for the most part, assigned on press together. Full Story

A few early reviews have been released for The Hunger Games from major outlets, considered “top critics”, including Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and The Guardian. All of them positive. So you can go into the weekend, the final weekend before The Hunger Games opens, with some relief.Again, my review and those of other lower ranking outlets, has been embargoed. Full Story

George Clooney is in New York today to tape his appearance on Inside The Actors Studio and to attend the NBR gala tomorrow night. Stacy Keibler has accompanied him on the trip. We’ll come back to this. But after all this time, Lipton has finally landed George Clooney. A very big get. And why now? You know the answer. Full Story
