It’s a thing now and I don’t hate it but I’m also a nail traditionalist. I prefer short and neat over fake and colour or clear over French and no fancy designs and last week on a Sephora shoot, I tried out the new graffiti option and have discovered that I suck at it. 

Here’s Anne Hathaway the other day with a one-off nail which is cute enough, I suppose, but at the same time it will always be more Avril Lavigne than, say, Marion Cotillard, you know?
