Diane Kruger: Best Met Colour
Very much like this purple mostly because I never thought I’d see her in it. Same goes for the shape of the Prada dress. Again with those goddamn feathers.
But here’s where style instinct comes into play. Diane Kruger resists the urge to trick out her hair like full ballerina. Rather, the way it’s been blown out, it’s almost... casual. Same goes for cutting back on accessories and nail polish. Because then, under heavy makeup and jewels, it suddenly becomes Joan Collins’s boudoir and some kind of seduction. In Diane’s hands, it’s dreamy, simple, elegant, understated, and really quite lovely.
