Homeland Episodes 9-12 Oh, Isa. Oh ,Brody.   This was a tough, tough four episodes to watch.  Only 12 episodes to tell this story – and I completely understand why they went the way they did. Learning about Brody’s plans any earlier would have made us more and more sure that he was going to remain one of the “good guys”, or made us more convinced that Carrie was going to be ineffectual. Full Story

Claire Danes is like Kristen Bell for Duana now: a blind spot. Duana loves Veronica Mars so much she makes allowances for Bell. And since she loved MSCL so much and now Homeland, she wouldn’t hear it from me when I raged about Danes’s humourless face all night during the show. Also I guess we’re not supposed to talk sh-t about people who are carrying babies because mothers are holy and beyond reproach. Full Story

In the last few years she's consistently turned up in things that are interesting, often shiny in unpredictable ways, or in colours a lot of people stay away from.
