Sponsored Tingles: Women of Wonder
Over the next few weeks Wonderbra will be sponsoring a series of posts on LaineyGossip profiling four women who, in my opinion, have rediscovered their wonder. At least the Hollywood kind. Maybe it’s a revived career. Maybe a recent make-over. Whatever it is, these women are all worthy of admiration, all capable, and, well, we’ll see some pretty fantastic cleavage too. It’s Wonderbra after all. There’s also an opportunity to win some prizes – see below!
Let’s kick it off with a longtime favourite, Julianne Moore, who this year was adorable in 30 Rock, graciously returned to As The World Turns as a final farewell to where she started, and delivered one of the most unforgettable performances of her career – in a career full of unforgettable performances – in The Kids Are All Right.
Still to come – Julianne recently wrapped on the comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love opposite Steve Carell. Now that is versatility. To say nothing of the fact that she’s among the designer favourites, especially Tom Ford.
As you know, one of my greatest gripes is the fact that Julianne still does not have an Oscar while Hilary Swank has TWO. She’s been nominated four times before – and twice in 2002 for both Far From Heaven and The Hours. This year? Well, there’s a chance. It depends on how they categorise it. I think she has a better shot at Best Supporting Actress even though her role in Kids is just as meaty as Annette’s. Whatever they decide, her name deserves to be included when the five finalists in either category are called. And she certainly deserves to be named the inaugural Woman of Wonder.
Remember her in green at the Oscars in 2003?
And what about this contest? Wonderbra is offering up $1000 in prizes and you get to choose how to spend it. Three (3) pre-loaded gift cards available ($200, $300, and $500) and three (3) winners will be selected from the entries received between now until the end of the contest period (October 27, 2010). Contest rules apply. Enter as often as you wish but no more than once per day. Check the contest microsite here for entry and contest details.
