I feel compelled to repeat this whenever I write about Iggy Azalea: I am not a believer. The music does nothing for me. And the personality, I mean, I just don't care. Do you care? If you care, convince me why I should. Anyway, Iggy and Britney are collaborating on a new song called Pretty Girls. Full Story

Britney is so excited to meet Ed O’Neill. They look like they are at the airport, right? Maybe a private airport lounge. I don’t think Britney has ever met a wedge she doesn’t like. Fancy running into this guy! 🙏☺️ Such a sweetheart!! #EdONeill #ModernFamily Full Story

Britney Spears and her boyfriend, Charlie Ebersol, stepped out hand-in-hand yesterday for her son’s soccer game. They started dating in the fall. So we’re about 6 months in now. And she seems as happy, healthy, and relaxed as we’ve ever seen her since having kids. Charlie hasn’t behaved like a super famewhore. Full Story
Friday on The Social, we were talking about past halftime memories and we were each asked to pick one. Mine, obviously, was from 2001. Britney. ‘N SNYC. Aerosmith. I still watch it every year, sometimes twice a year. Thank you, You Tube. God, she had “it” then, didn’t she? The Britney Stomp was never more powerful. Full Story

Today was Ethan Hawke’s hand and footprint ceremony in Hollywood. This is considered a lot more prestigious now than getting a star on the Walk Of Fame. It seems like now you can just buy a star on the Walk Of Fame. It’s been a great couple of years for Ethan. Before Midnight earned him an Oscar nomination. Full Story
If there’s anyone who needs romance at Christmas – other than our Mimi, and we’ll get to her in a minute – it’s Britney Spears. So you can imagine how relieved the Spears Corporation must have been that she had a boyfriend to spend it with this year. Britney and Charlie Ebersol were together for the holiday. Full Story

Las Vegas celebrated Britney Spears yesterday. It's supposed to be an honour... If you're over 50! Britney is 32 years old. Just two years older than Miranda Lambert. So, no. Don't ask me to be congratulatory about this. It's not how it was all supposed to go down. But here we are, pop's former princess, dressed like Liza Minelli (don't tell me you can't see this outfit in Liza's closet), and her face tighter than it was when she was dancing around in a red leather catsuit, her cheekbones fuller and higher, at her Vegas day presentation so, basically, she's Marie Osmond now. Remember when Zoe Saldana shat on the media for invading her privacy? Britney Spears confirmed to ET yesterday that Zoe’s having twins. You think she’s going to cuss out Britney too? I couldn’t cuss out Britney. It’s like swearing at a helpless child. Late in Dan Marino’s career, and even Mario Lemieux, the defence would go easy on them, because they were fragile and senior statesmen of the game. Full Story
It’s MTV VMA weekend. Which is why everyone seems to be running a retrospective – the VMAs often deliver gossip that lasts the entire year. Look what happened with Miley in 2013. We talked about it for months. Lara sent me this look-back this morning – click here to see the slideshow. The last line made me laugh.
But I miss Britney.
I ALWAYS miss Britney this time of year.
Sarah was watching old Britney videos yesterday and couldn’t believe it. Someone tried to tell me recently that the Britney you see in Vegas now is back up to the standard of what Britney gave us at those old VMAs. That person is 23 years old. And then I realised…oh my God they don’t know. Read Full Intro
I read an article yesterday on the LA Times website. The title: Why isn't Britney Spears' latest album a hit? Britney Jean was released last week and came in at #4, the weakest first week of sales of her career. The article notes that the releases from Katy Perry, Gaga, and Miley Cyrus all did better.
