The stars of One Day were in New York last night promoting separate projects. First my sweet Jim Sturgess at a screening for Heartless – the trailer is below – looking, as always, a little out of place and confused. It’s adorable. Heartless, though directly by promising horror genre auteur Philip Ridley, probably won’t get much attention. Jim’s next film The Way Back however looks much more buzzy in terms of acclaim. The trailer is below as well.

Heartless
and The Way Back of course will have to serve us until One Day opens next fall. His One Day co-star was also in New York last night and while Jim was busy screening his film, Anne Hathaway was posing on the carpet for hers. Love & Other Drugs will finally hit theatres next Wednesday. I don’t love this Valentino dress, but I do love it for her. It’s perfectly put together.

Now you know I’m currently high on an Annie crush. Having seen her in Love & Other Drugs and watched her on this press tour, Annie’s been inspiring frequent lady boners. She’s adorable. But not adorable enough not to eyeroll. Here’s an excerpt from a new interview with UK Elle:

“My identity used to be shaped on my appearance so much. I don't think I was shallow - I just think I was young. I focus on other things a lot more now. I've hit the point in my life where I understand that being skinny is not sustainable, and nor is it advisable, and nor is it enjoyable.”

But...um... you are really skinny. So maybe we should just avoid saying the “right things” when you can’t back that sh-t up with a curvy ass.

And this:

“From the age of 25 to 27 – and this is a little embarrassing to admit – I looked under my eyes every single day, because I thought, "It's going, it's going, it's going!" And then I realised the other day they're not wrinkles; they're smile lines. If you look at pictures of me from a young age, I've been smiling the same way since I was little. And I had that wonderful moment when you realise, "That's who I am." Botox would erase that.”

And then I danced alone in my room, swaying to the rhythm of the raindrops and watched as the leaves waltzed down from the tree next to my window, marvelling at the wonder of these small, intensely beautiful moments, knowing in my heart that life should never be altered from how it’s intended to be...

F-CK OFF.

Sit DOWN.

Why do they have to talk so much sh-t?
