Ben Affleck Gossip
Ben Affleck gossip, latest news, photos, and video.
New trailer for Gone Girl that was released during the Emmys is now online. It’s the most of Rosamund Pike’s Amy Dunne that we’ve seen so far. I’m trying to decide about her voice. Pike has a lovely, low voice. Did you hear Amy’s voice like that in your head? Did Amazing Amy speak in a sultry seductive voice? Or was her voice more like a bell in your head? I want to say it was more like a bell. Full Story
Henry Cavill was photographed yesterday in Detroit on the set of Batfleck yesterday wearing his Superman costume underneath a black robe. The money shot, of course, is going to be when we finally get to see him and Ben Affleck’s Batman together. This hasn’t happened yet and Comic-Con doesn’t count. Full Story

Ben Affleck was home in LA for the weekend, his birthday weekend. He turned 42 on Friday and has been back and forth from Detroit where he’s shooting Batfleck. Yesterday he and Jennifer Garner were out running errands in his favourite car. Does it seem like this car always needs gas? Like every time he drives it? We have a long while to wait before Batfleck. Full Story
It’s Batfleck’s birthday today. He’s now 42 years old. Conveniently he also covers the new fall preview issue of Entertainment Weekly for Gone Girl. Click here to see that post from yesterday. There are a lot of people who aren’t feeling Affleck as Batfleck and the entire superhero showdown as a whole.
How come I didn’t notice that Ben and Henry Cavill have matching chin dimples until last weekend when I was re-watching Man Of Steel? I’ve just spent 15 minutes looking at chin dimples. You know who has their chin dimple? Tom Brady. Maybe they can find a part for him too in the Justice League.
We might be a week away from George Clooney’s wedding. Now that’s how you f-ck with the entertainment media: get married on the same weekend as the MTV VMAs and the Emmys. Rest up!
Have a great weekend,
It’s Ben Affleck’s birthday. And oh look! New shots of Joey Lauren Adams out for dinner last night in a great jumpsuit. What is your favourite Ben Affleck movie? Mine might be Chasing Amy. I know we’re supposed to say Good Will Hunting and, for sure, he wrote it with Matt Damon, but as unfair as this is to say, I don’t think of it as a Ben Affleck movie. Full Story
Entertainment Weekly’s new issue is the fall movie preview featuring on the cover perhaps the most highly anticipated movie of the season, Gone Girl. It’s Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne, the groom, with Rosamund Pike as Amy Dunne, the bride, and the girl who’s gone… Perfect, non? The wedding dress, the veil, Amy’s smile, that people-pleasing, ideal young wife smile… And Ben. Full Story
May 6, 2016 loomed large, the date on which Marvel and DC would pit their cinematic universes against each other in a billion-dollar death spiral, but in the end, there could be only one. As I predicted months ago, Warner Brothers/DC flinched and Superhero Face Punch has been pushed back to spring—to March 25, 2016 to be exact—taking it out of direct competition with Captain America 3. Kevin Smith was asked at Comic-Con about whether or not he’s seen Ben Affleck. His response? Not just a simple “no”. "Great question. I don’t know, because we're not f-cking tight. I have not been [close with him] in decades. That's old Ben. He's got a wife that don't [sic] care for me at all [Laughs]. Full Story

Warner Brothers did a good job of keeping the appearance of Zack Snyder and comics’ Holy Trinity (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman) a secret in the run up to their panel on Saturday morning in Hall H. When Snyder took the stage and introduced his trio of stars, it felt like a legit surprise, and made for a great Hall H moment—the first time the Trinity has appeared together. Full Story
A new full length trailer for Gone Girl was released today. It was preceded by a series of posters put out over the weekend advertising not the film…but the preview. So that’s the marketing strategy for the film: they’re treating it as a theatrical event, a MEGA motion picture release, a MUST SEE MOVIE – not in the summer, but in the fall. Full Story
Jennifer Lopez was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week to promote the new album. The thing about JLo is that she’s always up for a fun playful interview and she can be really, really cute – on purpose, obviously – but there are some people who do it better than others, non? The clip below is 20 minutes long and the sound is not synched up but it was the best I could do with geo-blocking. Full Story
