Chris Hemsworth Gossip
Chris Hemsworth gossip, latest news, photos, and video.
One of the more interesting tidbits to emerge from the Sony Hack was that Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams didn’t get paid the same as their male co-stars on American Hustle, confirming that Hollywood has a wage gap. Now, in the wake of that revelation, Page Six says that Charlize Theron is “taking a stand” and demanding that she be paid equally to Chris Hemsworth on their upcoming Snow White prequel, The Huntsman. The Washington Post predicted yesterday that PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive would be Neil Patrick Harris. Click here to read why I didn’t think NPH had a chance. As you know, I was predicting Chris Pratt. Still, the possibility of NPH was exciting. Would the MiniVan Majority actually accept its first gay SMA?
And not Chris Pratt either.
As you’ve probably heard by now, it’s Chris Hemsworth which…kinda came out of nowhere. He’s not a gross douchebag though, so there’s that. Read Full Intro
Not really my type (my Hemsworth is Liam) but empirically, with all that fluffy hair and those thigh muscles, it’s a MiniVan Majority-friendly choice. It was not, however, the most obvious choice. He wasn’t even on my list of contenders. After a few people sent in suggestions to handicap Hemsworth’s chances though, I addressed it on November 10 Full Story
The trailer for Ron Howard’s In The Heart Of The Sea was released earlier today. Convenient! Because I was wondering how I would use these new Chris Hemsworth photos – he was papped at LAX yesterday and he’s the star of the film. It’s based on a true story, the incident that inspired Moby Dick, of a group of men out in the water on their boat and they’re attacked by the Godzilla of whales. Full Story
Hollywood is suddenly obsessed with Hank Williams. It probably has a lot to do with the prolonged fight over the Hank Senior song catalog ending in 2011, or that the Hank Williams Estate, thus resolved, signed a huge licensing deal just last year. At any rate, first there was Tom Hiddleston Full Story
In the wake of the Kristen Stewart/Rupert Sanders scandal of 2012, a lot of people wondered what would happen to the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel. Would Sanders be back, would Stewart be back, would neither return? Would Universal decide to skip a proper sequel entirely and just do a spin-off focusing on Chris Hemsworth’s huntsman character? There were questions, but few answers. Full Story
You know when you just can't make yourself care? I remember a couple of weeks ago Lainey was trying to make herself care about Ariana Grande. That's how I feel about the Hemsworths. I try to make myself care. There's no ill-will or distaste, it's just like trying to get me to have a real emotional response to, like, rice. Full Story

I’m surprised too. Because you know how I feel about Elie Saab: same, same, same, boring, same, same, same. But maybe this is where Elie Saab excels: maternity wear? It’s a good colour on her. And I’ve decided I can only tolerate a nude underlay if it’s on a pregnant lady, although I wonder whether or not this is like my version of a fashion handicap and if that’s the case – is it insulting? Anyway, Elsa Pataky was there because her husband Chris Hemsworth presented with Charlize Theron. Full Story

Look, if it were up to me, it would be Chiwetel Ejiofor for Best Actor. But as I said the other day, it really is looking like it’s going to be a battle between Leonardo DiCaprio and Matthew McConaughey. Which, from a campaign observational standpoint, I have to admit, might be a lot of fun. Full Story

There was a lot riding on the box office of Thor: The Dark World, namely that Marvel/Disney spent something like $300 million to make and market the movie, and it serves as a more realistic gauge for what the “Avengers bounce” is really going to be. Nothing in the Marvel universe is close to what Iron Man is, as a franchise, except for the Avengers movies themselves. Full Story
Lainey was hoping that RDJ would show in support of Thor: The Dark World at its LA premiere—not unreasonable, given he supported Captain America back in 2011—but Marvel typically only hooks one franchise outlier per premiere; they don’t clog their red carpets. So when Jeremy Renner showed up in my photo agency feed, I laughed out loud. Full Story
The Germany premiere of Thor: The Dark World occurred over the weekend and—gasp—a rare wild Hemsworth appeared. We’ve been poking at Chris Hemsworth for his lackluster presence in his own franchise’s promotions, and after the London premiere I didn’t expect to see him again until the US premiere in another week, but lo, there he is in Berlin. Continuing the (newly minted) holiday celebrating all things goofy and long-legged, Hiddlemas marked its second week by having a festive parade on a carpet that happened to be red. The parade was overseen by Grand Marshall Chris Hemsworth, with a tie knot tied so tiny-ly that it made his head look like a big blonde balloon, and the reigning Nerd Princess, Natalie Portman, who wore a dress she fashioned herself from one of those car windshield sunscreen thingies.
