January Jones is losing her hair. She says it’s “falling out in clumps” because she changes the colour so often, I guess a common hazard for busy working actresses (maybe a problem for regular ladies too?). Normally this would be something that we could maybe feel bad about, but if she’s talking about it on the SAG red carpet and at Sundance I think it’s ok to laugh at this, right? Maybe even, if we’re feeling really inspired later today, me and Lainey could create a Black Eyed Peas parody video called My Clumps? That her hair is falling out is totally typical of January Jones. Full Story

This was not the worst

It was a pretty boring carpet on style, right? So how could January Jones be the worst? Not with that bitch-face. (Did you see her stalk in like she was ready to have words?) Not with this hair. You might not like it, or the dress, but at least it gave you a reaction. At least it gave you some thrill. Full Story

And now, the “fangirl if they’re your favourites” voting roundup. If anyone looks happiest about voting it’s Mae Whitman, who is so proud and happy you’d think it was her first time.  I don’t think it is -- she’s 24 -- but it’s cute as all heck nonetheless… Whereas Hilary Duff looks like this is just a long line of errands she’s doing today, don’t you think? I guess the white top is ideal for letting the sticker show, and/or the red bra-slash-tank underneath implies patriotism, but don’t you think she could dress a little snappier for voting day when she KNEW she’d be photographed?  Josh Duhamel went for this “blank canvas with a sticker” look as well, but he looks a little less …oh, I don’t know, completely posed? By this logic,  Elizabeth Banks is the anti-famewhore, as this charming pic of her boobs and her voting sticker does not include her face. Full Story

Click here for preview #1.I just googled “Did Rare Steak Exist In The 60s?” (Answer - not really, except for “barbarians”).  This was mainly due to how much I’m enjoying my leftovers-lunch, but as I turned my thoughts to Mad Men, I started thinking about what else I enjoy that the inhabitants of that era didn’t. Full Story

As you know, I don’t care about who fathered January Jones’s baby. I should. But she is beige. You throw some girl sh-t onto her however, and, well, girl sh-t never sucks.January showed up to Vanity Fair last night. Jason Sudeikis, who was, at one time, rumoured to be the sire, was there too. With his new bonafide Olivia Wilde. Full Story

Remember when January Jones got pregnant and wouldn’t tell anyone who the father was and everyone thought it was Matthew Vaughn, the director of X-Men: First Class and husband of Claudia Schiffer even though he denied it?Barely.January Jones is the beigest gossip protagonist ever.Anyway, it’s been confirmed that Vaughn will be back to direct an X-Men sequel, bringing back James McAvoy as Charles Xavier and Michael Fassbender as Magneto. Full Story

WHO CARES?On paper it was Great for Gossip:Beautiful actress, mystery sire, married director...We were made for this. But at the heart of the story: January Jones. F-cking Boring January Jones. January Jones who - ask Zach Galifianakis - is a giant bitch to begin with, which is normally a wonderful first ingredient for Good Gossip, couldn’t make me care about a story that was built for every gossip blog. Full Story

Grace of Monaco is a $15 million project that is searching for a director and then... the actress who will play her. It was a matter of time. The script profiles Princess Grace’s life in 1962. She was 33. There was a political situation going down between Monaco and France. Her Serenity was apparently involved in some of the negotiations behind-the-scenes. Full Story

Making it work

Whatever did or didn’t happen with January Jones, clearly Claudia Schiffer and Matthew Vaughn are taking the approach that that baby with the mystery father has nothing to do with them. Claudia is standing by her man after his denial. Imagine how that would have gone down though when he had to tell her he was releasing a statement? What do you say to your wife when your actor is pregnant and people think it’s you who put it in there? Jesus. Full Story

Far away from January

Lainey Posted by Lainey

This is Matthew Vaughn. At least that’s what the photo agency is telling me. You wouldn’t know it to look at him because his is not the most recognisable celebrity face, being a director and all. But you probably know the name because he’s made headlines recently for vehemently denying that he’s the father of January Jones’s baby. Full Story

X-Men: First Class

Everyone is wanking off to Michael Fassbender’s performance as Eric who becomes Magneto in X-Men: First Class and while I totally think he deserves it because he’s great, I do wish people would jerk off just as hard to James McAvoy too. It’s almost easier to play the prototypically tortured superhero with a shattered heartbreaking history and a thirst for vengeance that compromises his goodness. Full Story

The beigest scandal ever

May 27, 2011 07:48:00 Posted at May 27, 2011 07:48:00
Lainey Posted by Lainey

It has all the elements of Great Gossip: an actress, a director, a supermodel, a mystery pregnancy… And then you find out it’s about January Jones and the whole story gets a downgrade, from Great Gossip to Just Gossip, if that. Beige Gossip is what it is. Anyway, E!Online’s Ted Casablanca posted an exclusive yesterday about X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn acting all kinds of suspicious about January Jones’s pregnancy. Full Story

X-Men is good, McAvoy relieved

As noted the other day, the first reviews of X-Men: First Class have been very, very strong, assuaging concern that resulted from the poster issues and the underwhelming trailer. Click here for a refresher. Fans and critics expressed relief. And the actors too! James McAvoy told WENN that he and Michael Fassbender were nervous about how it would all turn out. Full Story
