Right? In case you didn’t know. There have been rumours all week, and my friend L even indicated that her secret sources said it was going to be Charlotte all the way back mid-last week. But I didn’t want to think that it was true until, you know, now. I am disappointed. I am frustrated. Full Story
I keep calling it the Mary Lindo. That’s the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in London where Princess Catherine will give birth to Big G’s sibling. And where press and royal TwiHards have been gathered for days. It could be any time now. Which is why I was happy to get out of the country before it happened. Because apparently as soon as the child is born, every nutter from all over the kingdom pilgrims over to the capital to celebrate, clogging up an already busy city. My friend Omid hilariously clarified that, “Even the medium crazies will be coming”. I’ve interviewed a full crazy. Her entire house, wall to wall, was jammed with royal memorabilia. You know, like the plates with the Queen’s face on them? Then she built a separate add-on dedicated to all her Diana items. Read Full Intro
If you believe the bookies, Princess Catherine will be having a girl. And right now, they’re betting on the girl being called Alice. In second place is Elizabeth, followed by Charlotte and Victoria. I’m a gambling person so, obviously, I’m into this. Because someone’s just put $500 on Alice. Do they know someone who works in the royal kitchen and overheard a conversation? The fact that Alice has suddenly become the frontrunner is suspicious. Or maybe it’s a plant. Maybe the royals themselves had someone make the bet to throw people off the real name. But then again, what’s the point?
There are only, like, 10 options. The list isn’t very long. And it’s not like the Queen would ever allow her grandchild to be called Jasmine. Read Full Intro

It’s not Spring Break for everyone. And definitely not Princess Catherine who stepped out again today for a visit to the Brookhill Children’s Centre in Woolwich. She was just out yesterday for St Patrick’s Day. That’s at least 6 public appearances in the last two weeks. As I’ve been saying, they’re cramming it all in before she goes on maternity leave. Led by Her Majesty, all senior members of the Royal Family attended a commemoration service today at St Paul’s Cathedral to honour those who died in Afghanistan. For the Queen’s family, this is more than just an official responsibility. As you know, Prince Harry served twice in Afghanistan. Full Story

Princess Catherine visited the set of Downton Abbey today and everyone’s making “duchess-duchess” quips. She’s a big deal, the show’s a big deal, Royal + Show Business is always a good sell. And apparently she told them she’s a big fan of the show so they took a group photo that looks hilariously like a royal family photo, except that it’s in the servants’ area of the house. Full Story

They’re saying that Princess Catherine is due in April. No specific date has been revealed, of course, but that would put us at about the one month countdown, right? Here they are, the Cambridges, in London today at Westminster Abbey, attending the Commonwealth Service with Prince Charles and Camilla. Full Story
It’s New Year’s Eve. You ready?
Change your sheets tonight. Wash your hair too. No hair washing starting tomorrow and, if you can, at least until the weekend. Can’t wash away the New Year Luck, right?
So today we profile those born in the Year of the Pig and the Year of the Dog. The Pig is the last of the three lucky signs during the Year of the Goat/Sheep alongside the Rabbit and the Rooster. In May and June though, for Pigs, you have to watch your money. And just because you’re luckier than most this year it’s not an excuse to be condescending or to get cocky. Especially since in September and October you could run into some minor legal issues. Also in September and October, be extra mindful of your health and your family’s health.
As I mentioned yesterday, our rainbow butterfly, Mimi Carey, was born in the Year of the Dog. Read Full Intro
Princess Catherine made two public appearances last week and she was right back at it today in London visiting the Family Friends programme at Kensington Academy. By her standards, it’s a heavy workload. As you know, Kate is due in April. And she’s supposedly planning a holiday in February as her mother, Carole, will be celebrating her 60th birthday in Mustique. Full Story
