A new entry from Professor James Franco on The Huffington Post. This time, he writes about his teaching method. Yes. His teaching method. Of course, because his teaching method is the best, like everything else the Artist Franco does, his students are excelling, and he takes the opportunity to brag about how they’re going to a film festival, not out of pride in his pupils, but in service of himself, to congratulate himself.

Blah blah blah...

Franco educating us. And, whenever he can, reminding us of his talent. Like during the part about On The Road, and how he and Josh Hartnett auditioned for it a few years ago:

“I saw On the Road at the Toronto Film Festival. I remember auditioning for that movie three or four years ago opposite Josh Hartnett -- needless to say neither of us got the roles based on young Kerouac and Cassady. I played young Ginsberg in Howl soon after that. It has taken a long time for On the Road to come out and over the course of those 50 years the material has changed, because we have changed.”

This sentence “I played young Ginsberg in Howl soon after that” -- is it necessary to the paragraph and the point? Please. No. That sentence is ALL ego. And only a fangirl editor would have left it in.

Franco goes on to compliment On The Road director Walter “Salas”. The correct spelling is “Salles”. But Professor Franco, as always, is so confident in his belief that 1.he knows everything and that 2.he’s never wrong that, pfffft, why would he bother with Google?

And finally, per Professor Franco:

“I also hear that I've been dating Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart and Ashley Benson. Hot damn, am I a lucky guy. I wish I had actually gotten closer than the 13th row of the theater in Toronto where Kristen gave her On the Road Q and A, but I didn't; not only did I not talk to her, I didn't even go to the SoHo house where I supposedly asked her out on a date. As for Gomez and Benson, those are Bieber's girls and I wouldn't dare tangle with the Biebs. I heard he wants to kick my ass. Yikes!”

Everyone is taking this to mean that that’s a denial of dating Ashley Benson. Is it really? Like word for word interpretation, can you pull out a denial there? Click here if you want to read his entire essay.
