Sandra Bullock Gossip
Sandra Bullock gossip, latest news, photos, and video.
A change in format today.
I have press all day for The Social, our upcoming afternoon talk show premiering on Monday on CTV in Canada. We start at 6am ET with interviews every half hour or so. Normally I try to structure my work schedule to accommodate for blogging but this time it was impossible.
So I've pre-written 3 posts and shout-outs, and for the rest of the day, Duana will be our Guest Editor. She already has a LOT to say about Lisa Kudrow joining the cast of Scandal. Look out. Also, she might try to find any excuse to talk about Julia Roberts, her true love. You can reach Duana on Twitter @duanaelise or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I'm back full-time tomorrow. Read Full Intro
Gravity might be great. Rapturous early reviews are coming out of the Venice Film Festival where Sandra Bullock and George Clooney presented the film for the first time yesterday. The film is being called a visual masterpiece, in particular its 13 minute opening – a single shot. This, then, is not The Great Gatsby. Full Story

If the Gossip Genie won’t help us out, I don’t know, maybe Jesus Oprah can. Or the benevolent Beyonce. Only those two are powerful enough to put them together – Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. Check them out, arriving at the gala premiere of Gravity tonight. And what a handsome couple. Full Story
Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are kicking off the Venice Film Festival tonight with Gravity. Here they are at the photocall this afternoon. Now WHYYYYYYYYYYY can’t this be more than friends? They clearly like each other. And if the physical is any indication, they seem to bring out the best in each other. Full Story
The Venice Film Festival opens tomorrow. First film: Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. I’ve talked to a few people at TIFF. They all said it’s an extraordinary piece of filmmaking. So for those of you who’ve been asking me what to line up for at the festival, this would be a good one, and not just because it features two of the biggest movie stars in the world. Full Story
I love these photos of Sandra Bullock taking Louis to school the other day. SO cute. And perhaps not unlike conversations we’ve all had with our parents in the morning… “When you come home later…” Fill in the blank with whatever it was that you were looking forward to. Full Story

Now that I'm moving to Toronto, I'll be able to take my ma to the movies. The process of taking the Chinese Squawking Chicken to the movies is, I imagine, kinda like taking a child to the movies in that your selection has to be very particular. For kids, no violence, no profanity, etc. For the Squawking Chicken, we avoid the talky ones, because she doesn't understand the language and also because she hates when people are long-winded, which rules out dramas. It was announced today that Alfonso Cuaron’s highly anticipated Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney will open the Venice Film Festival. George loves to open in Italy and Cuaron has always done well there. Venice has secured a great kick-off. And, again, as I’ve already mentioned a few times, Sandy’s having a great year. Full Story

Fresh off her triumph at the box office this weekend with The Heat, Sandra Bullock is now in Australia to continue promotion. As I wrote earlier, The Heat delivered on so many levels – Melissa McCarthy is now a major box office draw, Sandy continues to be loved, and the two of them, together, are irresistible, assuaging any doubts about the early plans for a sequel that I wrote about a few weeks ago Full Story

Sandra Bullock is currently promoting The Heat in Europe. She wore black at the London premiere last week -- click here for a refresher -- and she wore black again at the photo call today in Berlin. This is a good look. I love a well tailored classic shirt and that leather skirt is a good length. Full Story
Sandra Bullock wore Victoria Beckham to the premiere of The Heat in London last night. I’m really into this dress, especially the back in that it’s supposed to look like your bra is exposed. Unfortunately, the shoes. I can’t with the chains. It’s too much of a night out in Vegas by Kanye West’s girlfriend. Full Story

Sandra Bullock went out for dinner last night in London. She’s in Europe to begin promoting The Heat, her new movie with Melissa McCarthy, opening June 28. I really, really want to see it. I really, really want it to be good. McCarthy told Entertainment Weekly recently (April 19/26 issue) that even though initially she would not be able to fit The Heat into her schedule, she wanted to work with Sandy so much, she said, “For the love of God, there’s basically no way to turn that down”. Sandra Bullock + George Clooney in Gravity. It was shot a while ago. And it was supposed to be released last fall but was pushed back a year. Sometimes that’s a bad sign. And that was the presumption in this case. Now a teaser trailer has been released and the reaction has been solid. Gravity is directed by Alfonso Cuaron. Full Story

Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy were in Vegas to promote their upcoming The Heat at CinemaCon today. The Heat was shot in Boston, a comedy about two mismatched detectives chasing down a bad guy.
