Prince Harry stepped out in public for the first time since his Vegas adventures a couple of weeks ago - at the WellChild Awards last night in London and at the Paralympics today (more on this later) but not before the UK tabloids printed an interview with a woman, Carrie Reichart, who claims she was one of the people randomly selected to go up to his suite. Full Story

Prince Charles is visiting Wales where his son William is stationed with the RAF rescue. He toured the base today, a proud father. Obviously those uniforms have never been so tidily hung up before. Before touring his dad around the workplace, Will was with his brother Harry the other day, surfing in Cornwall. Full Story

All I remember reading in advance about the balcony appearance and flypast was that the Queen would be accompanied by “senior members of the Royal Family”. Senior means only the Waleses? There’s always something new to learn, see? Just Charles with his wife and children, the heir and the heir’s heir and his spare. Full Story

Obviously this is not the portrait we expected in 1981 looking ahead 30 years. And those of you loyal to Diana would say that it disgusts you to see this woman who caused Diana so much grief be embraced the way she’s been, so much so that she was invited today to sit next to the Queen in the carriage. Full Story
