I was in Toronto for TIFF until September 18, away from home for 2 weeks. I was ready to go home. But 5 days later, Sam Taylor-Wood and Aaron Johnson were expected in town to promote Nowhere Boy. Sam Taylor-Wood and boyfriend Aaron Johnson had their baby today, a girl. Taylor-Wood has two daughters from a previous marriage bringing the child total to 3. That’s quite the brood, a 5 person family, considering their relationship is just over a year old and Aaron recently turned 20. The baby is called Wylda Rae. Full Story

It was a nice surprise to show up at the Palais today just as Aaron Johnson was heading to the Chatroom photo call. He’s lanky and tall and rumpled and cute, just as I expected. But there’s disappointment too. Because she wasn’t with him. Or at least I didn’t see her. It’s not proper protocol at a photo call to bring your pregnant fiancée if she has nothing to do with your movie. Full Story

If you’ve been following my blog, for weeks and weeks now I’ve been obsessed with Sam Taylor-Wood and Aaron Johnson. Obsessed. She’s 43 and he’s 19. And they’re engaged. And she’s pregnant with his baby. Please. It’s delicious. And their relationship has now already been featured twice in People Magazine this week, first focusing on Aaron’s point of view (he says he’s an old soul and Sam’s a young soul and as such they’re perfect together), and now from Sam’s vantage on the heels of her feature story in Harper’s Bazaar. Full Story

Finally. Kick-Ass opens tomorrow. I’d been jacked for Kick-Ass for several months as the online campaign began to gain momentum. I saw it at a press screening several weeks ago in an empty theatre with a handful of journalists and loved every minute. But I can’t wait to see it again with a full audience and… well… the opening credits. Full Story

Sam Taylor-Wood was not with Aaron Johnson yesterday in Berlin at the Kick-Ass photo call and I was a little sad. As you know, I am obsessed. Then these new photos surfaced. SO GOOD. They were taken on March 27th in London. Aaron went for Starbucks, then went to get Sam at the salon with her girls. All four of them left together. Full Story
