That’ll be a course in university one day. Probably soon.

George Clooney covers yet another magazine this time ESQUIRE UK. Last month, for ESQUIRE US, he shat on Russell Crowe, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Ashton Kutcher. Click here for a refresher. This time he’s not picking fights with other celebrities… but kind of:

“If you're famous and on Twitter, you're a moron.”

That’s, like, almost everyone, including Crowe, Leo, and Ashton who are all on Twitter, though Leo’s is probably run by an assistant and is mostly for charity and sometimes for his film projects. Those who Clooney rolls with, however, are definitely not on Twitter – yet. Sandra Bullock isn’t on Twitter. Brad Pitt isn’t on Twitter. Julia Roberts isn’t on Twitter. Rande Gerber…IS on Twitter. Gerber hasn’t tweeted since September though. And mostly about his liquor business. I wonder if George talked him off it.

When the discussion turns to relationships, G admits that he’s “surprised” that he’s single again. But it comes across as a casual, off-hand observation – he likens it to be surprised at how his career’s turned out, how he didn’t stay in Kentucky. It’s not said with regret…but at the same time, as he’s been doing lately, he’s nipple-tweaking the MiniVan Majority into believing that he’s still waiting for The One. The subtext is always…never say never.

“I haven’t had aspirations in that way, ever. I was married in 1989. I wasn’t very good at it. I was quoted as saying I’ll never get married again pretty much right after I got divorced and then I’ve never talked about it since. What do you do? Should I go, ‘I got to get me some kids right now!’ and rush out and impregnate someone? Look, what I do know is that I was raised in a loving, happy family. I don’t have any dislike or distrust of that.”

In other words, George Clooney wants to make babies with you. He just hasn’t met you yet.
