Weak
Jesse James has issued a public apology. My mother is an unforgiving bitch. She can hold a grudge forever. And she has that horrible habit of bringing sh-t up forever, like almost 15 years later, she’ll still throw it in my face the time when I was dating that guy and didn’t take her to the doctor and took money from her and went snowboarding instead and what a prick he was and how I wasted a year and a half of my life on his sorry ass. It is so
Say it isn’t so? I wish I could. This was what many of you expressed yesterday when news broke of Jesse James’s infidelity reported first by In Touch Weekly after Michelle “Bombshell” told her story to the magazine. When this happened to Josh Duhamel and Fergie, they put on a united front and condemned the accusations, forcing their happiness on top of the scandal. Full Story
Gets worse...
Many of you are hesitant to believe the In Touch Weekly cover story this week about Jesse James cheating on Sandra Bullock. I don’t blame you. Click here for a refresher. Full Story
Best Actress Oscar Curse strikes Sandy B?
No, please Shiloh, no. Let’s start with the good news. The good news is that the source is In Touch Weekly. So, yeah, you know. The bad news is that some broad is telling them that Sandra Bullock’s husband Jesse James is a cheater. Her name is Michelle “Bombshell” McGee. Of course it is. Full Story
Best in Show: Sandra Bullock
Post By Duana There are three reasons that guys I know love Sandra Bullock. 1) If you ran your hands through her hair she wouldn't scream "Don't, I just did it!" 2) Get the impression she's not going to be an uptight "lights out before we get naked" kind of girl. 3) So endlessly relaxed when she's being interviewed on these carpets - even tonight when she's poised to win and is trying really hard to pretend like she hasn't heard all the rumours that call her a lock - she is so easy and fun and f-cking real that she manages to not only have a good interview with a guy who got this job out of absolutely nowhere (seriously, who was that EW guy in the post-red carpet pre-show show?) but also create a catchphrase. I want Sandy’s legs
Sandra Bullock today with construction workers hammering out a home project, casual in sweats and showing off her impressive legs. They are slim legs, sure, but there is tone, there is muscle, there is evidence of food and hard work, and an ass! She has an ass. I can get with that. Sandy is favoured to win Best Actress at the Oscars next Sunday, a slight edge over Meryl Streep. Full Story
Ladies at the luncheon
Today was the annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon. Notably absent: George Clooney. It’s a non-campaign year for Clooney. Looks like he’s conceding early to Jeff Bridges. But enough of the boys. Let’s talk about our girls. GO Kathryn Bigelow, poised to become the first woman ever to win an Oscar for directing and a movie about war, no less. Full Story
Sandy says the right things
A few years ago, Eddie Murphy pissed on his Oscar chances with a sh-t movie called Norbit. The Norbit billboards directly faced the Kodak, described at the time like a slap in the face to Academy Members who frowned upon his indiscriminate film selections. Sandra Bullock was nominated yesterday for Best Actress. Full Story
You could have been Sandra but now you’re Mischa
Meg Ryan is only 3 years older than Sandra Bullock. Only. And yet... This is Meg today at the opening ceremony for Istanbul Fashion Week. It’s like she’s 70 and wearing a wig. This face, those lips, that chin... remember how cute she used to be? I’ve attached a photo for comparison. Full Story
SAG Best Body: Sandra Bullock
This, as noted by my friend Sasha, is kinda figure skating styles. Also an Alexander McQueen. Fitting too because on Saturday night, the US Figure Skating Championships were decided. Christina Gao: there may be a new Michelle Kwan for me next year. If she develops according to plan, this girl will be a champion for a long, long time. Full Story
Worst Dressed: Sandra Bullock
Again. Read this: I love Sandra Bullock. I watched The Proposal on a plane and enjoyed it for what it was. I was totally on board with The Blind Side. Remember when I said I’m all over football movies? TBS wasn’t the greatest. It wasn’t anything. Like, no lows, no highs, not much. But that doesn’t mean Sandy B wasn’t appealing, adorable, endearing, the usual. Full Story
Sandy & The Blind Side
I love football movies. Especially when they’re corny. But Laura laughed at me last week when I told her I wanted to see The Blind Side. You’re probably laughing at me for wanting to see The Blind Side. But Michael Oher’s story is irresistible. And while I can’t stand the Baltimore Ravens because I hate Ray Lewis, it’s nothing short of remarkable what Oher has accomplished. Full Story
Sandy & Coop
Love Sandra Bullock so much. Did not love her last night in LA for the premiere of All About Steve. She looked much better while promoting The Proposal. Hate the dress – way too busy – and she seems to hate it too. When a woman doesn’t like her outfit, it shows. Strangely enough the way she appeared on the carpet appears to mirror the way she appears in the movies. Full Story
Everybody loves Sandra
Sandra Bullock fought back on behalf of the Movie Star last week as The Proposal surprisingly earned over $30 million, way exceeding industry projections. Formulaic chick flick but whatever. In the war against reality losers and the democratisation of celebrity, a real star like Sandra driving a romcom all the way to the top is definitely something I can live with. Full Story
