Charlie Hunnam > Taylor Kitsch?
This is not fair, I know, but we’ll come to that in a minute... Are you tired of all the new trailers? A new trailer is dropping every day. It’s holiday bombardment and some of you have written to complain about the inundation. Me? I have no trailer fatigue. I LOVE movie trailers. Full Story
Where’s Aaron?

Aaron Taylor-Johnson (that’s the first time I’ve called him that and it feels so good) has been missing from the Savages red carpets. He was a no-show in LA and he wasn’t around for the one in NY last night either. The easy answer is because of the wedding. As reported last week - click here Full Story
Can we PLEASE get a trailer for this?
Over the last 3 weeks or so, most of the expected Oscar contending features have been rolling out their first trailers...but for Anna Karenina. Joe Wright, can you PLEASE get on this??? This is another film Duana and I will be seeing together, holding hands. Right after Les Miserables. I’ve been saying for a while, ever since the previews for Savages came out, that I’m not sure how I’ll make it out of the theatre after watching two hours of Aaron Johnson. Full Story
Is this your Finnick?
E! News reported the other day that Taylor Kitsch, Garrett Hedlund, and Armie Hammer were on the short list to play Finnick in Catching Fire, the sequel to The Hunger Games. Multiple sources tell me that Armie Hammer is far and away the first choice of director Francis Lawrence. Full Story
Battleship vs The Avengers Week 3
Wenn, Doug Meszler/Splash
Taylor Kitsch was in New York this week for a last push to promote Battleship. After this he pretty much goes right into press for Savages. Battleship opens on Friday. Can it challenge The Avengers? The Avengers made over $100 million on its SECOND weekend. That’s crazy. I’m no box office scientist. I have no idea how much it’ll go down on its third weekend. Full Story
Taylor Kitsch buzzed
ROBYN BECK/Getty
You like it? I don’t like it. Especially since his hair looked so good two weeks ago at CinemaCon - click here for a refresher. Here’s Taylor Kitsch, freshly buzzed, at the LA premiere of Battleship last night. Also attached - Alexander Skarsgard, Liam Neeson, and Brooklyn Decker who is getting completely out-styled by Rihanna every time they step out together. Full Story

Taylor Kitsch was named Male Star of Tomorrow at CinemaCon yesterday. Previous award winners include: 2011 - Chris Hemsworth 2010 - Alex Pettyfer 2009 - Chris Pine 2008 - Emile Hirsch (HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAH) 2007 - Shia LaBeouf Taylor was there to promote two upcoming films for Universal. Battleship opens in North America on May 18 but it’s already been doing big business overseas, reportedly already at the $150 million mark (source Full Story
Battleship: Big, dumb, loud…successful?
It’s crept up on me slowly, but for the last six weeks or so, I’ve thought that Battleship, the movie based on a boardgame, would surprise people. Sure, it looks big and dumb and loud and it reminds me of Transformers in less-than-flattering ways, but it kind of looks fun. Succeeding in summer is often not so much about quality storytelling or acting but about quality fun. Full Story
Taylor will be OK. Blake might be better

As mentioned several times already, after screening Oliver Stone’s Savages a couple of months ago, Universal was so jacked by its potential that it moved its release date up from September to July, right in the middle of box office season. My sources told me during Oscar week that Savages is indeed very, VERY promising. Full Story
Could I love you again?

Yesterday I got yelled at by fans of Alexander Skarsgard for 1. putting him 2nd to Taylor Kitsch and 2. pointing out his knock-knees. Click here to see. Fans, you see, of anyone, they can never be entirely pleased. Anyway, here’s Alexander Skarsgard - FIRST! - with Taylor Kitsch and the cast of Battleship at the Tokyo premiere. Full Story
New week, more TK
Jun Sato/TORU YAMANAKA/Getty
Taylor Kitsch was in Japan this weekend promoting both John Carter and Battleship. We went 4 for 5 last week on Taylor Kitsch photos and posts. Would it be too much to ask to be able to match it this week? Good start so far...As you can see, Alexander Skarsgard has now joined the Battleship cast on the promotional tour having missed a few stops. Full Story
4 out of 5 for Kitsch
Taylor Kitsch photos were available 4 out of 5 days this week, a first for Taylor Kitsch. It’s easy of course since he’s currently in Europe promoting Battleship, stopping today in Spain with Brooklyn Decker and Peter Berg. Looks relaxed, doesn’t he? I like him so much in these shots. The more he does this, the more comfortable he’s becoming, the more his body language convinces me he believes (finally) that he belongs here. Full Story
You don’t hate it...yet
See? Taylor Kitsch is getting properly papped now. Remember that the next time you want to sh-t on John Carter and before you sh-t on Battleship. Which is what he’s promoting right now. Check out TK last night in London returning to his hotel and not totally hating the flashbulbs in his face. For now. Full Story
What John Carter did
Wenn, Dave Hogan/Getty
Sarah from Cinesnark says that John Carter might break even, eventually, but that it’s still considered a bust considering how much it cost to make and market it. Yes, John Carter took a massive dump. But there’s one good thing to have come from it: Taylor Kitsch gets papped now. Full Story
