Angelina Jolie spoke at the G8 summit in London today where the forum announced a £23 million initiative aimed at ending war zone rape and sexual violence. Angelina Jolie was in New York last night for the 4th Annual Women in the World Summit. She spoke in support of Malala Yousafzai who was shot in the head by the Taliban because she committed the crime of wanting to go to school. Malala survived. She went back to school a few days ago. Angelina Jolie is in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda this week with British Foreign Secretary William Hague “to call on all governments to help eradicate sexual violence in conflicts”.
