A new TV spot for Jurassic World has arrived and it’s teasing out more information about the new monstersaur on the block: Indominus Rex, the pants-sh*tting terror quaintly referred to as an “attraction” by the meat bags upon which it will soon be feasting. We’ve gotten a glimpse of Indominus already Full Story

Sometimes I just want to show you things. And we can think about it together. So Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy have been working on The Revenant. And they’ve grown closer, hanging out together off set, even in LA when they’re on break. Hey, look what a reader called Liz just emailed to me. Full Story

Tom Hardy makes a mug

If you already have a Tom Hardy problem, this isn’t going to help. This will make it much, much worse. Here he is on the cover of UK Esquire. Some dudes, when they do the squinty eye thing, it doesn’t work, not at all. You don’t believe it. Like if there was actually cigarette smoke drifting across their faces, they wouldn’t hot-squint, their eyes would just water and they’d swat it away. Full Story

A controversy about this movie erupted following its premiere at SXSW when a member of the audience at the post-screening Q&A told director Etan Cohen that the movie “seemed racist as f*ck”. In response, the filmmakers said that similar criticisms of the movie are “cheap” and “lazy journalism Full Story

Empire Awards in London yesterday. Christopher Nolan was honoured. Nolan’s the father of the Dark Knights. And produces the new films, Superman and the upcoming Batman vs Superman. So this is like showing up for the company president. On a side note that I just want to throw out there right now – I received an update recently from a Henry Cavill fan. Full Story

The first trailer for Spectre, the next installment in the James Bond franchise, arrived—oddly—on Friday evening, and it’s more of what we’ve come to expect from Daniel Craig’s stint as 007. Which is to say, it’s moody and dark and everything is gray and chilly. Full Story

Jake G goes full-Bale for Oscar

The first trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal’s boxing movie Southpaw—the one he got insanely ripped for—just premiered on Eminem’s Youtube channel, of all the weird places. Once upon a time, Eminem was attached to the project, but his involvement now is limited to a song on the soundtrack and, apparently, debuting the trailer. Full Story

Adam Sandler in The Cobbler

I’ve seen some bad movies that have made me rage recently, but though it is a profoundly bad movie—I mean that literally, it is profound in its badness—The Cobbler starring Adam Sandler isn’t upsetting to watch. Full Story

I had no idea there were more Ninja Turtle movies on the way. So I had to ask Sarah, the Ninja Turtle expert, even though she wouldn’t want to be known as such, if they were shooting a sequel. Apparently, yes. Fine. I can live with that. But WHY ISN’T THERE A SEQUEL TO INSIDE MAN??? It’s almost been 10 years since Inside Man. Full Story

Sam Taylor-Johnson is done

Not exactly a surprise. Sam Taylor-Johnson didn’t bother trying to pretend during interviews leading up to the release of Fifty Shades Of Grey that there wasn’t creative conflict between her and author EL James. So the speculation that she would not return to direct the sequels was more than justified. Full Story

Dear Gossips,

Deadline reported exclusively yesterday that Warner Bros and Bradley Cooper are working on a deal for him to direct the third (or is it fourth?) remake of A Star Is Born. Warner Bros has a short list of favourite actors: Leonardo DiCaprio, Ryan Gosling, Tom Hardy, Ben Affleck. Right now, off the success of American Sniper, Cooper’s looking a lot like an Affleck contemporary. He’s arguably a better actor. And Clint Eastwood loves him. Eastwood was supposed to take on A Star Is Born. Obviously Cooper has his blessing.

In addition to directing though, if negotiations don’t fall through, Cooper would work on the screenplay and star in the film as well.  Read Full Intro

I used to hate Vin Diesel. There were rumours about how he behaved on set, how he treated people. Then, he kinda went gossip quiet. And after that he started showing me his dance and lip-synch on line to Rihanna and Beyonce and Katy Perry. Even Sarah didn’t hate it when he proudly played a tree in Guardians Of The Galaxy. Full Story

Tom Ford made his directorial debut in 2009 with A Single Man, for which Colin Firth earned an Oscar nomination, and now, six years later, he’s lined up his sophomore project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ford has signed on to direct Nocturnal Animals, based on Austin Wright’s book Tony and Susan. Full Story

Fifty Shades Of Grey will be released on DVD on May 8. They want your money so they’re promising that this version will be “unrated”, with an alternate ending and new scenes. Like… Come scenes? One of my biggest problems (aside from Jamie Dornan’s overall discomfort) with the movie is that NOBODY COMES. Full Story
