Leo’s award season Wolf

Paramount confirmed yesterday that Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf Of Wall Street starring Leonardo DiCaprio will be released on November 15. In other words, they’re already expecting it to be an award season contender, as most of his films usually are. Especially in a 2 movie year. In 2002 it was Gangs Of New York and Catch Me If You Can. In 2006 it was Blood Diamond and The Departed. In 2008 it was Revolutionary Road and the weaker Body of Lies. In 2010 it was Inception and Shutter Island. In 2013 then it’ll be The Great Gatsby and The Wolf Of Wall Street.
Some say Leo is due. God, are we talking about this already? Well, what if it’s Leo vs Matthew McConaughey? Or maybe even Leo vs Ryan Gosling?
Here’s Leo arriving in Tokyo today. Morley and I kept saying to each other how good he looked last week when we saw him at the Weinstein Grey Goose pre-Oscar party on Saturday at Soho House flirting with Jennifer Lawrence -- click here for a refresher. Definitely better in person than in photographs and totally not as bloated. He was dressed similarly to what you’re seeing here only it was a grey sweater and not a blue one and a t-shirt underneath instead of a button-down. Same cap though and a tan, or it could have been alcohol, seeing as at one point he was double-fisting Grey Goose and soda.
