Miley Cyrus + Lindsay Lohan
North Woods/ Splash, INF
If you’ve been reading this blog regularly the last couple months, you probably know by now that Miley Cyrus’s tonguing, etc, doesn’t bother me as much as it’s bothered other people. What’s bothered me the most is a quote I read from her in the new Cosmopolitan:
"Everything is so chaotic and crazy right now and it’s so much all at once, but I’m living for it. I'm just having the best time ever and everything’s falling into place like it’s supposed to. Even people who want to hate on me, they can’t even shut down the fact that I’m literally what everyone is talking about. I don’t want to say that I’m on top right now – I feel like I’m kind of an underdog in a cool way. It’s almost punk rock to like me because it’s not the right thing to do. Like, society wants to shut me down."
“I’m literally what everyone is talking about.”
I keep thinking about that. I keep thinking about her thinking about the fact that everyone is talking about her. And revelling in the fact that everyone is talking about her. And you know who it reminds me of?
Lindsay Lohan can’t get enough either.
On Sunday night, the two of them were hanging out after Saturday Night Live. They were at a club. Because Lindsay can’t stay away from the club. And they stayed until 5am. Then they left together. Needless to say, this works out better for Lohan than it does for Cyrus. Lohan is a loser. Her career is for sh-t. Lohan will use whoever it takes to get back. Miley’s an idiot if she lets that happen. It might be the most idiotic thing she’s done yet.
